April was craaazy for us!! For that reason, this will be post ONE of MAAAAAANY! Our trip and Adalynn's birthday will be separate posts, but here is the rest of the moments from April :)
Her room was toasty for naptime because the sun was fiercely beating through her windows! You gotta do what you gotta do right?! #strippingforacause
We did some Easter crafting and Adalynn was bursting with excitement... A girl after my own crafting heart <3 She asked every single day if the Easter Bunny was coming that day ha ha
Library Day! She is all business checking out her fun finds. She is a total pro to scan the book, rub it on the mat, stack them up, and then press FINISH!
Fun girls day today with this cutie! Daughters sure are built in best friends! She is my partner in crime, my ride or die chick that is about as happy-go-lucky as they come! We took a break in between shopping to eat lunch and play. She ran off to go climb up the slide again and came running back first saying, "Wait mom! I forgot a kiss!"💋 She planted a big smooch on my cheek and then ran off to play. Sooo cute!
Jordan's dad came to visit in Vancouver and we went to the Farmer's Market :) Adalynn was so excited to find another painted rock that was hidden in the planter! And it was even a Mr. Potato Head rock! A group called Vancouver Rocks paints them and then hides them all over town for people to find. They are her favorite!
Pretty spring trees in full bloom!
Ohhhh the flowers at the Farmer's Market! They are to die for!
Morning snuggles + stories <3
Talk about some serious hair envy! Dying over those perfect curls!! Love my sweet girl!
These 3 girls are the cutest friends! Dia is so creative with this awesome straw train for them to ride in :)
Mid April we went on a fun trip to Arizona and California! It was a total blast and of course, I have pictures galore for a separate post after this one :) Stay tuned!
Moving on....
Some days require a lunch date to Chick-Fil-A to regain my sanity, for more reasons than one... Amazing how a big DP and watching Adalynn play with her cute friend can somehow make the crummy day seem non-existent!
This goober is all about the girly stuff... especially my make up lately! When I am in the bathroom getting ready she has to come in and do "her makeup" too, brush and all! Too cute :)
I had a very specific idea in mind for Adalynn's 3 year old pictures and needed a solid color kids umbrella... Needless to say, that was hard find, but we found this cute pink one that would work instead! She was having fun trying them all out!
We had a small day window of sunshine for me to do her 3 year old pictures in the tulip fields. Poor girl wasn't feeling good and it ended up being quite the trip! I made the drive in the middle of rush hour Portland traffic and with her feeling super cruddy... Probably not my best mom moment that's for sure! It was not a good experience, but I did manage to salvage a few good ones that were hit and miss... See her 3 year old birthday post coming soon for the final edits!
Going on rough night #4 of little princess feeling yucky... Having sick littles is SO hard!! Brutal coughing and all that comes with it.......
Talk about a cookie monster! She sure enjoyed her choc chip cookie after a yummy lunch! That chocolate face kills me :)
Some friends were so sweet to throw a TRIPLE baby shower for me and a few other friends that are also due in May, also with girls! It was so fun :) Can't beat yummy food, great company, sweet treats, and getting spoiled! SO grateful for such awesome friends that are so good to us!
One of the girls, Maygan, made this super cute newborn maxi skirt set... I was totally dying... How cute???!!!!!!
35 weeks baby update :) Down to weekly Dr. Visits and more than ready to snuggle my sweet girl! At this point, it is very likely that she will make an early entrance! Yay! I am measuring 3 to 4 weeks ahead of schedule and surely feeling it too...She is sitting lower than low and I am having a lot of contractions too. Later this week we will be going in for an ultrasound to see where exactly the extra growth is and make sure baby has enough fluid. Until then, our bags are packed and we are ready to meet her anytime!
All snuggled in for naptime <3
Stories with Daddy before naptime and some jelly beans in a bowl! Talk about the best of both worlds :) Life couldn't be sweeter!
With an April recap that short, you know there has to be some seriously long picture posts coming right?! ha ha You better believe it ;) Our trip is coming next as well as Adalynn's Birthday!!
