Our March was full of rain, rain, and more rain! Ugh we have for sure been missing the sunshine lately!! Despite how wet our month was, we fit in some serious nesting, celebrating, and daily laughs with our Adalynn :)
Back again for a checkup and still perfect pearly whites! She did amazing, chatted non-stop with the staff, and was the perfect little patient! This dental mom was incredibly proud! We celebrated with a fun afternoon of lunch and swimming to reward her awesomeness.
If this doesn't sum up motherhood, I don't know what does! I needed a few minutes to go the bathroom and Adalynn just couldn't wait that long to read me her story. SO... She grabbed her stool and story and brought the party to the bathroom. Oi!
The best part of heading into the 3rd trimester...Jordan tackled the dishes and taking out the trash while I got to relax, giggle, and play Tato Head with this little girl!
Headed to dance class! All smiles!
Always a relief to have taxes done, so of course, Menchies for frozen yogurt!
This sweet friend has been one of the main reasons we have survived moving to Vancouver! She is truly the best! We just love their family. She totally spoiled this prego mama with gel toes and it was pretty dang heavenly! Talk about a great Friday!
All month long I finally got going on the new baby's room. It took a while to take shape, but I fell in love with the bedding that came! Her boho room is pretty darn cute!
Jordan is the best hanger for all my crazy ideas!
After our fun alarm night, Jordan made us a yummy breakfast!
A little Sunday baking with my cute mini me! She is suuuuper into "helping" me cook and bake recently. It is pretty dang cute! She runs the mixer all by herself and is all business. We had a lot of over ripe bananas to use so we busted out some yummy banana cake with cream cheese frosting as well as banana chocolate chip muffins! Yum!
Best banana masher ever! And apparently she is big on quality control too ha ha!!
No banana cake left behind! She licked that paddle CLEAN and even saved some for later on her face!
Started Monday off right playing with friends... glasses included!
Some serious magic happened, I would have never known it was a Monday! The hubs offered to take Adalynn to play at the castle for a few hours while I got to relax and scrapbook with a big DP..... Sayyy WHAAAAAT??!
She has only been counting down the days till the release of Moana so he sure scored big!
Adalynn is a laugh a minute lately!! I had to jot down some of her "funny" conversations from this month so I don't forget :)

We were out to dinner at the Spaghetti Factory one night and Adalynn spilled some of her Sprite on her placemat.... She yelled out," Oh no! It's all saturated now!!!!!" Jordan and I were totally dying in laughter while Adalynn was seriously concerned. Forget the spill of the drink, where on earth does a 2 year old learn the word saturated, let alone use it correctly in a sentence?!?!

We were driving back from lunch one day with Jordan and drove by a large American Flag. Jordan told Adalynn to look, there was an American Flag.
Adalynn: " What is that dad?"
Jordan: "Well that's where we live, in America."
Adalynn: "I don't live in there! I live in Washington!!!!"
Jordan just let it go chuckling to himself..... We drove farther down the road to see several more flags flying. All of a sudden we heard proudly, "Look Dad! There's a miracle flag!" ha ha!!! Now whenever we are out and see a flag, she is quick to point out the "miracle" flag!

Because some days it is fun to read stories in jammies in the morning and send funny face pictures to daddy at work :)
Trip to Toys R Us and Winnie the Pooh on the way out is a must!
Adalynn is doing great in her "big girl" dance class! She loves Miss Darcy and all her friends.
Jordan went to CA for 5 days for his birthday present. Adalynn spent all morning hiding in his suitcase so he couldn't pack to leave. Hugs at the airport and it was a long few days without our main squeeze!
We had such a fun day together to beat the rainy blues and missing daddy. Doughnut date and the library made for an excellent morning, followed by a little shopping and lunch! Toys at home, reading books galore, a good afternoon nap, and ending with friends at Chick-fil-a! We sure finished the day with a bang! Love her to pieces!
"Take a picture of me mom and send it to daddy!"
She was missing Jordan juuuuust a tiny bit while he was in CA ;) I'm sure he was totally curious what she was having for lunch ha ha!
The sun finally came out after her nap, so we made sure to get out and enjoy the sunshine on a walk! She is such a silly goober, with her sucker and all! She didn't choose the thug life, the thug life chose her lol
So for the longest time, Adalynn has made it a priority to go show Jordan her outfit after she is done getting dressed in the morning. He ooos and ahhhhs over her outfit and tells her how pretty she is every time. Adalynn loves it and never forgets. This particular morning, I got her dressed and hair done only to have her super sad that Jordan was gone and wasn't there for her to go show him her outfit. She was genuinely sad. It hurt my heart! So we had to skype him real quick so she could show him. She was all smiles after that of course! Such a daddy's girl!
Skype kisses <3 <3 <3
A few pictures from Jordan's California trip! I got him Lakers tickets and he met up with his brother Nolan and Uncle Jack who also have birthdays in March :) They had so much fun and even went shooting and to the movies too. Fun guys weekend to celebrate!
My sweet friend Heather made me the cutest yellow pom pom onesie for the baby and I just happened to have the cutest pants and swaddle blanket to match! Getting so excited! Is it May yet?!
Bathtime fun! Sure to keep the daddy blues away.. She was SO ready for him to come home later that night!
Can you say spoiled?! Grandma & Papa sent Adalynn TWO different Easter packages this week with some of her favorite things! Easter magnets, new outfit, PEZ characters that she doesn't have, & some candy too. She was over the moon excited! Getting mail is the best!
Daddy is back so she of course had to catch up on stories with him! Watching them read together is one of my favorite things <3 <3 <3
Apparently, she planned on being there a while with her bathroom reading material! ha ha Talk about genes from dad......
This sweet girl amazes me! She LOVES puzzles and will sit there forever, carefully figuring out where each piece goes. Hard to believe that our 2, almost 3 year old can put together 30 piece puzzles all by herself! SO proud of our little smartie pants!!
Trip to Winco to grocery shop and we had to grab a pic with this classic :) Papa and Grandma LOVE old cars! Had to send it to them!
Cute little leprechauns for playgroup! We all met up at Krispy Kreme for green doughnuts. So fun!
Lazy weekends at home! Adalynn got out of the shower and jumped back in bed with daddy to snuggle and watch some Daniel Tiger :) And our Saturday trip to Costco sporting Minnie and her red boots was pretty much perfection!
Forget the cute milestone pic... We brought in week 30 with a bang. And not a good bang! It was quite the ride...uncontrollable nausea, vomiting, and dehydration that jump started strong contractions. Baby girl must know how much we want to meet her, but please for the love of Pete keep cooking a little longer! Just when you think your hubby has seen every possible side of you, you black out in the hospital bed and then projectile vomit on him a few times...Thankfully with an IV, they were able to stop the contractions and stress on baby, and we were able to come home around 230am after several hours of misery. Adalynn was just thrilled to be up past her bedtime and stealing snacks out of my purse! Jordan was a peach and offered to document our fun visit with some pictures. By the look on my face you can tell how much fun I wasn't having!
Nesting is so much better with the new frosted Strawberry lemonade from Chick-fil-a!
Happy National Icecream Cone day! She sure makes little moments, BIG! That cute grin fuels my fire :)
A little bit more "put together" picture of my 30 week bump :) Fun to get dolled up for a girl's night out at Red Robin!
Pregnancy Update***
EVERYTHING gives me heartburn nonstop... It is super yucky! My major cravings this pregnancy are chocolate, Dr. Pepper, anything sweet, water, bread anything and chewing on ice! Swelling has begun, but thankfully nothing like last pregnancy! Jordan makes sure to always rub my feet while I have them up at night. I have had non-stop braxton hicks since hitting 30 weeks also. It pretty much feels like my stomach is going to rip open! Baby girl is suuuuper active, especially late night hours. Such a little night owl! I am carrying her VERY low so I am already to the point of being crazy uncomfortable in one position for very long. Rolling over in bed at night is a sight to see....Feel like a whale! My legs and all over especially ache at night being in the same position for so long ;( Adalynn LOVES to talk to her in my belly and makes sure to always kiss her goodnight. Baby always seems to kick when she is talking to her or giving my belly a rub. Adalynn talks non-stop about being a "big sister" and always asks how much longer till baby sister gets here. It is the cutest! These last 8 weeks are going to be crazy!
Afternoon of colors and counting with fruit loops and play doh!
In case you were wondering what sleeping in till 9:15am looks like... behead and all! Had to PRY her out of bed this morning! Darn daylight savings time still has her all sorts of messed up!!
We saw our sweet little girl soon to join our family! She was moving nonstop, so still pictures were a battle, but we got to see so much! She was grinning with those chubby cheeks constantly, sticking her tongue out, sucking on her arm and toes, taking big gulps, and snuggling her hands by her face. With all the name questions and curiosity, we are excited to announce that her name will be Savannah Paige Martitz <3 <3 <3
Off to celebrate the birthday boy for the weekend! LOVE that I get to call these 2 crazies MINE!
Much needed sunshine! Adalynn was thrilled to be outside!
First Farmer's Market weekend of the year! And of course, we had to enjoy the playground while we were there :) Adalynn's smile couldn't have been bigger!
We ended the night with Jordan taking me to see the new Beauty & the Beast and it was amazing!
She was all smiles for church :) Sunday best!
You woulda thought it was Adalynn's birthday just by letting her help frost daddy's cake and lick the beaters! Chocolate everywhere!! But that grin though....
Happy dirty 30 to this handsome babe of mine! Such a fun weekend celebrating him! I'm so happy he was born! We sure love him to pieces! As requested, a chocolate cake with chocolate icecream to celebrate. Nothing but the best for our favorite guy!
Who needs a pillow when you have Dory?! ha ha
The party continued for a few nights after that too :) Tummy sleeper like her mom! And apparently Buzz is too lol
Enjoying the sunshine at the park! Adalynn was so excited to get to ride her trike and play on the toys :)
Baby Savannah's room reveal! Love the boho theme and how it all came together. We are ready! Can't wait to fill all those empty frames with newborn pictures!
We are looking forward to a fun trip in April before our family grows and we will be a family of FOUR! <3 <3 <3
Welcome April!!
(and please bring some sunshine!!)
