{Boise & Twin Falls} Oct 2017

Jordan had to work in Spokane for a week, so us girls spent the week in Twin Falls having fun with family! We drove to Boise and had fun with friends there for a few days, then Jordan flew to Spokane from there while I went on to Twin with the girls.

Headed on our long drive and there was a bunch of construction delays and a crazy hailstorm! This is how we felt about that....

Savannah slept through the WHOLE hailstorm and didn't even flinch. Crazy! It was SOOOO loud!

A rainstorm in front of us, a neon rainbow over us, and a killer sunset behind us! I don't know how I would live without the gift of sight! Jordan laughs when I quickly grab my camera, but hey, these are the little glimpses of miracles in this life that I live for ❤ Talk about breathtaking!

We finally made it to Boise! It was freezing, but boy were we glad to be out of the car!

Headed out to play in Boise for the day!

We had a yummy lunch at Sizzler in Meridian.... Boy do we miss living there!

The only time she isn't talking a million miles an hour.... when she has chocolate icecream with M&Ms in front of her ha ha!!

We even drove by our old house...I still just want to knock on the door and tell them we want our house back. Ugh so bittersweet!

We ate a yummy dinner at Texas Roadhouse with the Hemmerts. It was a bit chilly waiting outside, so Daddy improvised :)

We had about an hour wait, so the guys took all the kids over to Sportsman's to see the fish and animals!

Getting ready to take off and had to snag a quick pic with Kim. Love her more than words! One of the best things that came out of us living in Lewiston!!

Ate some Blaze Pizza before dropping Jordan off at his Hotel and heading for Twin!

Adalynn and Savannah slept like a champ the whole way while I drove to Twin Falls!

Jordan kept telling Adalynn that there was a park around the corner from Grandma and Grandpa's house that she could play at all the time.... Well right when we got there, she didn't waste any time in having them take here there ha ha! We bundled up and headed for Candy Cane!

Grandma was gung ho to go in the tube with Adalynn.... It was all fun and games until she couldn't get out from the steep incline! Ha!

OH man this was priceless....Playing in the leaves. Adalynn was in heaven and our faces hurt from smiling and laughing so much.

Too much fun for Savannah! Fell asleep on the short walk home.

We were lucky to make it for Salsa Sunday!! YUM!!!!

Grandma introduced Adalynn to the Rescuers. She probably watched it like 50 times over the week we were there! She LOVED it!

One of her FAVORITE things about staying at Grandma's.... Getting to sleep in her bed with her!

Good Morning from our little squish!

We met up with Kerin and Jurgen for a yummy lumch at Chick-fil-a! Then we went to go check out all their renovations at their house. Adalynn begged Jurgen to play in the leaves, so he grabbed a rake and make a big pile for her.... and played in them with her!

I had photography sessions at night, so the boys and my mom & dad had fun things for the girls to do while I was gone. They roasted hot dogs in the back yard!

Took a walk on the canyon after my photography session! The view was incredible! Adalynn collected all sorts of treasures in her basket and even found 2 painted rocks from Twin Falls Rocks. We also got to watch gliders zoom back and forth down the canyon and base jumpers jump off the Perrine Bridge. Savannah loved the stroller and the bumpy ride puts her to sleep every time!

After our walk, we had to stop and get our SIPS fix! Oh man so yummy!

Corn Maze fun!

Adalynn could have done this slide ALL. NIGHT. LONG!

Dutch bros on the way home to warm up :) Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate was perfection!

Savannah had quite the chapped cheeks from such a drastic change to cold weather! Still happy go lucky girl.

We skyped Daddy nonstop of course :)

On Wednesday, Papa took the day off to have fun with us girls and grandma! We didn't get to fish at Clear Springs like we planned, but we did get to see the huge sturgeon and feed the fish. Adalynn had a blast! The fall colors were gorgeous too!

Fall colors in Twin Falls! So gorgeous!

Adalynn had a fun little playdate with a cute friend Emery! They went and had volcano drinks at Daisy's and then came back to Grandma's to play Barbie's.

The fun continues! Mini Golfing with Great Gma and Gpa Rice!

Hole in 1!

We went out to see Great Gma and Gpa Dutry too!

Carpet picnics....Can you tell we were at Grandma's for the week?! ha ha

Eric was all over the uncle business! He was lovin' time with the girls <3

That time when we went on a date. ALONE. For like the first time in um... I can't even remember... Jordan fed me dots on the drive down to the hot springs while singing me the sweetest song ever. I've never fell in love with simple moments so much! Something about no cell service, our own hot tub, and yummy pizza delivered right to our room was pretty much perfection! Boy am I so grateful to be doing life with this hunk <3

Homeward bound!!

We were graced with another neon rainbow on the drive home. A beautiful reminder on the Sabbath day!
