Welcome July! The sunshine is in full swing along with Summer fun and continuing to figure out this 2 kids thing :)

Saturday morning got me like Zzzzzz..... Oh Savannah!

Can't get over how grown up she looks with her hair straight! It is fun once in a while to take a break from the curls <3

I have been kind of wrapped up in all things Savannah lately, so I wanted to do a special little date with Adalynn, just the two of us. She LOVES the minion movies, so I took her to go see Despicable Me 3! She got the total package complete with popcorn of course! She is such a bright sweet little girl that is growing up too fast for this mama!

I had to giggle.... I took this pic thinking she looked so cute because that's all I do these days it seems like. I came down and showed it to Jordan. He looked up at me with a funny look and proceeded to tell me that she looked like a picnic tablecloth. ha ha woops! Now that is all I can think about looking at this picture.... lol

I was making dinner one night and Adalynn trotted downstairs from her nap and told me that she was going to sit and read to Savannah. It was SO cute listening to her tell stories as she flipped the pages!! Oh these sisters are going to be best friends <3

It is tough being a baby!

We love to do fireworks for the 4th of July. Jordan went and bought a crapload of all kinds of fireworks and Adalynn begged to do a couple a few days before. Of course, Jordan can't say no to that little princess and lit some. The lighter ran out to do Sparklers at the end, so Jordan improvised by using the BBQ... YIKES! I may or may not have been expecting SOMETHING to explode unexpectedly! ha ha never a dull moment at our house!

Happy 4th of July! We headed over to the VanAusdal's house again this year and partied with a ton of other families! Food, fun, and fireworks.

Adalynn's hair was getting long and all those curls are a little unmanageable when you are 3..... so SNIP SNIP! Tori cut off a good 3 inches and she was back to bouncy curls! I think short is going to be better for her (and me combing and doing it in the morning)!

Lovin' her short hair cut the next day! Easier to comb through and faster to dry ;)

Gorgeous walk along the water near the Portland bridge! We watched the sun set and huge barges go by. Fun evening!

Can't get enough of this milk drunk face!! Her sleepy giggles are the BEST!

I don't think I could ever have enough sister pictures with these 2! They melt me!

This cute booger slept from 12 to 830! I was one happy mama! #7weeksold

Just one more because she is just so dang cute!

It is tough to be 3 sometimes... SO we started up a sticker chart and a behavior chart. I've never heard "Yes, Mom!" and "Ok, Mom!" so much before!

Can't remember the last time I had such a good Monday.... SO I had to document because let's be real, if you don't take a pic, did it reaaaaaally even happen?! ha ha Sleep and a shower does amazing things to a mom!

Adalynn had a fun playdate with her bff Ruby! She was so excited and even watched out the window for her. As soon as she got to our house, Adalynn insisted on reading her a book :) I peeked around the corner to find them sitting on her bed, and Adalynn reading Monkeys jumping on the bed. It was SO stinkin cute! They had fun playing kitchen and so many other fun things too!

My obsession with sleeping pictures continues :D This chunky monkey is just too precious! After putting her down, I just stare at her in disbelief that she is really mine! We love her so much!

Ahh this has been a real struggle... Miss Savannah thinks she needs to be held 24/7 even when she is asleep. Try to put her down or lay her somewhere to sleep and she will wake right up the minute you put her down. My arms and neck are SORE and it is an exhausting habit to break!

When you're sooooo tired, but mom makes you take a bath first!

Don't mind me... I am just a mom obsessed with this cute squish...so I take a bajillion pictures everyday!

Took Adalynn to play in the fountains and at the park.... She wasn't excited or anything ;)

Fun day with friends at Alderbrook Park! Bouncy castles, paddle boats, pirate ship, swimming, mini golf, and even pink lemonade coming out of the drinking fountains! What a day!

Have to constantly take a double take seeing Savannah in Adalynn's baby clothes! Such a cutie pie!

Daddy has the magic touch! Or more like the magic arm ha ha It lures her right to sleep everytime!

I just had to snap a few pictures during church... Jordan was totally melting my heart with the girls! He just sat and stared at Savannah for so long and then him and Adalynn were playing with her feet. Those genuine looks and cute smiles are priceless!!

I knew that Adalynn and Savannah looked SO much alike, but I finally did a few side by side comparisons to show just how identical they are.... WOAH! No doubt they are for sure sisters and pretty dang close to twinners!

Savannah wore Adalynn's baby dress to church and again, the similarities are crazy!

The bath queen is at it again... the faces she was making was seriously cracking me up!!

I better keep include this for a giggle later..... At the time, it was FAR from funny! It ruined literally a whole load of clothes... Jordan was NOT a happy camper!

Sticker chart for the win! She made it by 4 stickers and was so excited to pick out the fidget spinner that she wanted!

Those Summer nights...Adalynn loves to periodically stop riding and come peek in the stroller to say hi to Savannah <3

OH my sweet Savannah! She keeps a smile on my face when it starts to fade in the middle of the day, and all the feels in my heart always <3 Her smile lights up the world!

While daddy is out of town, we party at IKEA....

It has been quite a challenge getting used to Savannah's little fierce personality! On top of wanting to be held non-stop, she would be carried like a sling in my arms all day if she could! It is her go to position to just chill :)

Morning snuggles while waiting for her reflux to simmer down... SO rough! She giggled right as I snapped the pic. Perfection <3

Vacation time was a little over a week away & Jordan was out of town on business... So let's have a trip to the Doctor's office to keep things interesting! ugh! Adalynn had a really weird pimple rash show up all over her body. I was super scared because it looked a lot like chicken pox and we were getting ready to go to Lake Powell. I rushed her into the Dr.'s Office and they didn't think it was chicken pox, but weren't sure exactly what it was. The rash came in waves, didn't itch, and the pimple looking sores never popped or scabbed over. They called her in some prescription cream and I was just grateful we could still go on vacation that we had been looking forward to FOREVER!

She was just as thrilled as I was to be there can ya tell?!

Adalynn was such a big helper running errands with me to get stuff for vacation. I was just going to let her skip her nap since we got home later in the afternoon. When we walked in, she said, "Mom, I'm reaaaaaaally ready to go lay down." I was shocked and didn't think she was serious. She marched right upstairs and climbed into bed. I came up shortly after to find her zonked out in her bed, blinds open and all! I later had to pry her awake for over 30 min! #shoptillyoudropliterally

Daddy had been gone for 3 days and the anticipation of him finally being right down the street *almost* killed her ha ha! She was glued to the blinds watching for him!

My favorite kind of afternoon!

The pet store and a cup of mike n ikes candy... She's livin' up Friday night for sure!

Hard to believe that a year ago this day was my miscarriage, and now I am snuggling this sweet rainbow baby girl! My heart is full.....

These 2 had quite the story going for a while playing barbies while I was making dinner. Jordan is such a good sport about it and doesn't hesitate when she wants him to play girly things, dollhouse, Minnie Kitchen, barbies.... you name it, he's all over it. I love watching them play together! They are crazy about each other!

Miss Savannah Paige turned 2 months on the 23rd of July! She celebrated by sleeping from 1130 to 815 :) woop woop! See the next post for all the details at 2 months old! Shots weren't fun, but the faces in the mirror sure were!
