Cooler weather is slowly creeping in and September was nothing short of a great month! Time to recap our family happenings :)
Last month, when Adalynn and I were in Idaho Falls, I got a cute Fall unfinished wood letter set. I couldn't wait to get it done and up in the house! Jordan had a fun night playing with Adalynn while I worked on some fall decorating projects :)
Letters finished! It only took all day, my sanity, and the cleanliness of my entire house! Paint and glitter everywhere!
I continued to make some cute wood blocks to accent our fall decor!
I love centerpieces! :)
Our house was full on ready to welcome Fall in September.... The weather said otherwise though ;)
Miss A just strollin' through the neighborhood. She loves to walk up and down our street!
We are trying to fit in as many bike rides as we can while the weather is still warm! We will sure miss Summer night rides <3 Adalynn loves to go on the bike!
Can I just freeze time? Most days I am on my last nerve and pulling my hair out with a toddler, but then there are beautiful days like this, filled with big hugs, non-stop kisses, larger than life smiles and silly play. This cute girl sure makes our family complete! Never a dull moment with her learning new words and things! Amazing how much she teaches us daily about unconditional love ❤
Adalynn is BIG on dunking and will eat anything that is dunked in BBQ sauce, Ranch, or Fry Sauce. Tonight her BBQ sauce dunking included her green beans and pasta noodles too..... And I ain't even mad ha ha whatever it takes!
Bath time for the win!!
Always an adventure to check on her before we go to bed at night :) #pleasekeepyourarmsandlegsinsidethecribatalltimes
Ok this girl is completely killin' me! 16 months strong now rocking 2T pants, a top pony, and even says thank you... Whaaaat???!!! Where did my baby girl go? She steals more and more of our hearts every day ❤
Turned on the fire for the first time this season! Nothing like a brisk 43 degree morning to say hello to Fall! Those temps didn't last long though.... back in the 90s it went!
PJ day at our house! Was a while since we had all been home together on the weekend so we enjoyed some serious cuddle time!
Oh what a {FUN} Saturday it was!
We headed down to Twin Falls to meet up with Jordan's uncle and aunt that were visiting in town. His dad also bought a boat and so we went out on water with him for Labor day, but first, we had to hit the park!
Ugh I could watch this sweet girl sleep ALL NIGHT LONG!!
We were snuggle buddies on the boat for the day! It was a bit nippy, but we had a good time watching daddy and everyone tube :)
All tuckered out from the sun!
We headed back to Kuna after we spent Labor Day boating, and Adalynn was so excited to play with her toys. She even paused from block building to lay a kiss on daddy. So cute!
Never a dull moment at our house :) Jordan was talking through the video monitor at Adalynn playing in her room. She was holding the monitor in front of her face and kept trying to give daddy "kisses," yet all you see on the screen is her big tongue! Ha ha ha!!!
She was pretty hard up for entertainment while I was cleaning! Such a silly sweet girl <3
Jordan has been working some late nights, so I had a cute date with this little girl to go feed and chase the ducks! She was in heaven!
She kept pointing and yelling, "ducks! ducks!"
I was trying so hard to not pee my pants laughing! Adalynn couldn't understand why she couldn't just walk up and pet the ducks like dogs. She started having this sassy walk like she was gonna go catch her one of those ducks.... ha ha!!!
That would be our little daredevil! Yikes!
She is always climbing something it seems like! What a monkey!
Perfect night for a little backyard picnic!
"My mustard mustache brings all the boys to the yard.." lol!!!!
Our friends from Lewiston were coming to visit us for the weekend, so I was vacuuming and these two goobers were taking selfies.... figures! At least they are cute right?!
Ok so let's be real...good friends are hard to find. And great friends are the kind that pick up your FAVORITE chinese soup and bring it 7 hours for your because you just can't take the cravings any longer! YES! I could eat this stuff everyday and when Jen and her family came to visit, she brought me some. BEST. FRIEND. EVER!! They didn't get to our house till close to midnight, but I just had to have some :)
Finally got to meet Bella! What a cutie!
Jen brought some fun stuff for Adalynn and us, and she was in heaven! A blanket, book, toy, and some goodies! Anyone who knows Adalynn knows that she LOOOOVES blankies!
I had to soak in some time with this sweet Bella girl! Seriously was hit with some baby fever! I had to take Jen to my favorite kids store in Meridian, so I didn't mind loving on Bella while she shopped! ha ha
These were the best shopping faces I could force out of these guys :) How ironic that the background was the bra section!
Ugh I missed this girl! She took over my position when I went on maternity leave at the dental office, and continues to be there now that we have moved. Always a fun thing when strangers turn into coworkers that turn into friends that are now like family!
Us ladies were all over the shopping scene and the guys were good sports to tag along with a smile :) Mike was happy just chillin with Bella!
We all crammed in the tiniest elevator with all 4 of us adults, 2 babies, and 2 strollers!
Jordan was sure the Bella whisperer while they were visiting! She smiled non stop everytime he smiled at her! It was so cute :)
Adalynn couldn't get enough of Bella either! She kept giving her eskimo kisses and pointing to her feet saying, "toes!"
Bedtime stories with Jen <3
Bella was quite the snoozer while we all relaxed!
Ok so we went to go into town with everyone, and after I got Adalynn dressed, my heart was exploding! She looked so big and grown up! I had to get a few pictures and a few turned into several.
Oh look at that cheeser smile!!
Gotta sport the glasses at Sportman's warehouse!
In Meridian, there is a place called The Village, which has all kinds of cool shops and restaurants. There is a cool specialty candy shop there that we took them to called It'Sugar.
Minion glasses!
Superhero masks :) Love the expressions!
Bella had fun shopping too! That smile says it all!
Jordan lovin on Bella some more
Adalynn sure loved Jen. She was always smiling and laughing at her <3
We went all out and made a fire to do smores..... in the street! Nothing like sitting on buckets and laughing all night long! Who knew smores could be so fun?!
We even snuck in some family pictures!
Ugh we had so much fun with them for the weekend and despite trying to convince them to move, they headed back to Lewiston without us! Adalynn was so cute as they were leaving. She kept saying, "buh bye baby!" and then kissed Bella bye. Heart officially melted!!
What an adventure it is to be one! Just running down the street with her moose purse in tow :)
Crazy how in Idaho we go from wearing shorts and short sleeves one day to being in pants and long sleeves the next day! Watched the rain from the garage with this cute girl. I just want to eat her up!
Oh how I miss going to the bathroom ALONE and without being watched... I always seem to have an audience these days :) lol
Sleeping beauty and obsessed with her blankie that Jen brought her!
So we got a little crazy one day and I straightened Adalynn's hair! Holy cow she looked like a totally different girl! Now I know why she was born with curly locks and we sure love them!
Always a happy sassy girl :) Love her!!
Stay tuned for the rest of September!
Love, Jordan & Elise
