We are warm weather and water people, so keeping up with the blog in the Summertime is super hard! Time to get caught up from May :)
After spending several hours working in the yard and being all sweaty and nasty, I still can't resist this cute girl running up to sit on my lap and read a book!
She is such a blankie girl! The more the better!
Jordan plays on a softball league through his church so we go watch him play on Tuesdays and Thursdays! He got to bat right before it downpoured!
Took Adalynn home after it started raining at the softball game and pulled in the driveway to turn around and see this cute face :) She is such a ham! I can't get enough of her and that cheeky grin with her hood on!
Jordan's brother, Nolan, has been living with us for a few weeks till he can move into his apartment. It has been fun and Adalynn has loved playing with Django outside everyday. We grabbed some Menchies frozen yogurt the night before we moved him. YUM!
While we spent the day helping Nolan move into his new place, Grandma Morrow drove up to play with Adalynn for the day :) She had a ball going for a walk, eating at Arctic Circle, playing with all her toys, and of course showing Grandma all her favorite books!
We are officially legit! Living so close now, we decided to get season passes to Roaring Springs Waterpark to have fun for the Summer! Even Adalynn was smiling for her picture ;)
I love that she LOVES books! She will be going a mile a minute and then just plop down and start reading a book. It is seriously the cutest thing EVER
I'm thinking this stretched out, bare stomach thing is becoming a trend!
Busy Saturday getting things done at home, but we made sure to save some time to play at Settlers Park! She loves to play on the kiddie playgym and climb up to the slide.
We even went to check out their splash pad! She wanted to play and get wet, but we will be back with swimsuits soon!
Adalynn was playing in the tub and now says "turtle" plain as day! It is the cutest thing! After the park we went shopping at the mall and just happened to find this cute stuffed turtle, so of course, daddy bought it for her to sleep with. She carried it around all night long saying "turtle!"
Due to somewhat crazy weather, we were undecided what we were going to do for Memorial Day. Last minute on Sunday afternoon, we left for Twin Falls to go boating with my family, turtle in tow to boot!
After getting there, we were ready to eat dinner with everyone. My dad hadn't turned on the BBQ for a few days and opened it to find THIS! A full on bird's nest! Too funny :) Only in Idaho!
Headed to Burley to boat on the river for Memorial Day! She was pretty excited :)
We took a picnic to eat in the park before we launched the boat. Beings that Adalynn LOVES water, she wouldn't stop pointing and running for the water. So, Jordan took her down to the docks to splash a bit. She was in heaven!
Adalynn also walked the park with Uncle Eric
Love this guy!
She was dyin to drive!
Soaking up the sun! She rode all up and down the river with Jordan
Driving with Grandpa
Random kisses are the BEST!
Even Scooter went! He rode with Eric the whole time and loved the wind on his face!
Just was in heaven being able to ski. The sunshine felt good!
Justin and Mom
Sun on our face, no better place!
No better place to snuggle and nap than on daddy :) This was about the last picture we took before the crazy rain storm rolled in and were were booking to get the boat on the trailer and take cover in the car!
Adalynn LOVES the swings. Grandma and Grandpa Morrow got a swing to put on the backyard play gym for when she comes! She was thrilled and we couldn't get her off
All tuckered out from a fun day! She must have been wore out because she was going on a 3 hour nap!
Adalynn is the perfect age for so many fun Summer things, so I am was dying to get started soaking in all the warm weather stuff! Park nights are almost every night and we had to top it off with an icecream cone! Summer looks good on that little girl!
As previously talked about, Adalynn LOVES book. She is so dang cute :) Out running errands in the car and I look back to find her reading in the back and occasionally looking up like "oh hi mom!"
Our first family trip to the waterpark! SO much fun! Waterslides, sunshine, and icecream. Perfect day!
So um let's be real.... we NEVER go on dates. Like EVER. So this was a BIG deal! We went to see San Andreas in VIP seats at the Village and had dinner served up there too. It was so fun! Love getting away, just us, to spend some time together!
This little girl had quite the sick spell! She is still such a happy girl even when she is sick, running a fever, and feeling achy. She loved all the popsicles and of course I soaked in all the extra snuggles and cuddles! What we thought was a short spell actually lasted for quite a long time. Poor girl!
The next day, she still was feeling not so hot....She loved to snuggle with daddy and watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Jordan was thrilled that she sat still to actually cuddle with him! What a concept!
This stud finally got his new car! He loved big blue, but it was time for a change! His company, Ecolab, lets him order a brand new car every 3 years. Yay for the new Escape in Grey!
After being so thrilled with our family pictures, I couldn't wait to get them up on the wall. After finding the perfect frames and FINALLY getting them printed, they made their debut on our living room wall :) Jordan is such a good sport to hang all my ideas!
She is crazy for the park! Feeling a little bit better getting some fresh air, but still not fully better. You would never know it with that smile!
Wheeeee!!!
Bath time is one of my favorite times of the day :) She is a splasher
Snuggles to get warm!!!
I'm thinking she wants a real pillow! haha I guess her turtle will do for now :)
Just taking a little stroll down the street... "hi mom!"
Some days I really wish we lived closer to town than the 10 minute drive in..... But views like this every single Summer night make it so worth it!
Eating at Famous Daves after a fun day at the waterpark :) She is still full of sass with those crazy curls! Can't tire her out!
Sunsets sure are my weakness and Kuna seems to specialize in them! I believe it is Heavenly Father's way of saying that tomorrow is a new day and everything is gonna be ok :)
I just wanted one picture in her super cute Sunday dress outfit... just ONE... and this is the best face she would give me. Such a sassy little miss attitude!
I headed down to Twin Falls to do my Summer photography sessions and had this little traveler in tow as well. Such a good girl in the car! She was out for the whole ride!
First night in Twin Falls, we took the boat out so I could get some awesome skiing shots of Justin. He has worked hard to master his technique so I was ready to document! The sunset was amazing and we managed to get some great skiing shots of him too!
The gorgeousness we boated in at Wilson Lake!
Yeah her first time tubing was less than enjoyable.... that face says it all!!
The ski shots of Justin :)
Adalynn still wasn't fully better from being sick and it just seemed to escalate while we were in Twin Falls doing sessions.... Several nights in a row she was up till 4 and 5am to finally climb in bed with me. So hard to have your little princess sick!
We made a trip out to see great grandma and grandpa dutry also! Adalynn loved to see the fish pond and explore their backyard :) They love to see pictures of her on facebook and call her "baby cakes" :)
Checking out the fish pond and bridge with mom :)
After an evening session, we took Adalynn out to the new First Federal park and THIS was the sky! Like I said, I'm a sucker for an amazing sunset!
Loved the swings, her favorite!
This slide was a hit for sure! She went up and down and up and down a million times! Every time, uncle Justin helped her up and then let her slide down. She couldn't get enough!
More Twin Falls Shennanigans!
Night #3 of being awake to see 4am... Poor sick baby girl! She did somewhat ok during the day, but the nights were brutal :(
Orange leaf is a favorite and Adalynn made sure to go around to every table to say hi! Little social butterfly we have.....
Racing Grandpa after some Orange Leaf... this melts my heart!!
Back home in Boise and finally feeling a little bit better. That cute watermelon girl is irresistible!
Glad to be home in her own bed!
"Heyyyy good lookin!"
Just another day in paradise!
I'm normally not a morning person, but this girl and her silliness make mornings the best! Sunglasses and no pants... perfection!
Finally feeling 100% better so we celebrated with her favorite food while out shopping... chicken nuggets! She proceeded to hold each one up to show everyone before she took a bite. ha ha that's my girl!
Just playing outside after daddy's softball game! This girl LOVES to be outside. Can't beat barefoot on the grass, fresh air, and kuna skies <3
I could stare at this sweet sleeping girl all night long... the millions of kisses I gave her just doesn't seem like enough! Can't believe how big she is getting!
It was a waterpark kind of day! Oh how I love that little cookie face!
Doing some shopping for Father's Day and Adalynn was cracking me up! Every time I looked over at her in the stroller she was just reading away like go ahead and shop mom!
Heaven forbid she only have ONE binki! Her blankie and binki are must have staples for Miss Adalynn :)
All ready and packed for a fun Father's Day weekend camping in the South Hills and boating in Twin Falls! Love celebrating our favorite daddy!
Camping up in the South Hills and we had a blast! Adalynn was in heaven being outside and getting to play in the dirt! Tons of pictures of our fun!
The whole gang :)
Our little family <3
Opening up Father's Day gifts :) Jordan got some new shirts and we have my dad a mirror for the boat!
Adalynn made a special picture for daddy of her handprints. He loved it!
Her first smore! She couldn't get enough bites and cried when it was all eaten haha
Our Cabin!
The scenery was gorgeous!
After breakfast and tear down the next morning, we headed home to trade gear and get the boat. Fun day at Wilson Lake!
Church with these crazies! We won't even talk about how many we had to take to get a decent one with everyone looking ;) ha ha!
I had special shirts made for Father's Day too! They looked great! I am so grateful for the awesome daddy he is to our princess! and this ended up to be one of my favorite pictures of these two! Love them more than words can say!!
Adalynn had a rough ride home, so Jordan pulled off at Mountain Home and let Adalynn pick a rock and even washed it off so she could bring it with us. She LOVES rocks so of course, she was thrilled! As much as I wasn't excited to be taking home a rock, this moment was pretty priceless. She held the rock like her prize and kept giggling!
Pants are apprently overrated and sleeping isn't the same without your booty in the air! It is so cute how she always sleeps like this with her little feet crossed!
Our good little eater! She devoured her chicken, potatoes, asparagus, and fruit!
The "it's officially Summer" starter pack! Driving at the park, playing in the neighbors sprinklers, bikerides, and watermelon!
Although she has several of Jordan's features including her baby blue eyes, it is crazy how she is such a mini me! Putting this picture up next to one of me at her age, the resemblance is pretty mind blowing! Love our little girl!!
We hit the triple digits and it lingered around for a few weeks! Holy hotness!!
We stayed cool during the triple digits by splashing at the waterpark :)
A spoiled little girl got some new kicks! Up a size and a half and I was secretly crying inside.... The guy at the Nike Store was in shock how big her feet were for only being one year old! He insisted on measuring them too! If he only knew her daddy :)
Little Summer girl! uggghhh how did she get to be so cute?!
Aaannd this is why a girl needs a daddy... to go up on the playground, run through the sprinklers, and eat popsicles with her :)
This little girl seems to have grown up quite a bit overnight! She now climbs on her toy box, stands up, and then JUMPS off... whaaat??!! She also now says doggy, grandpa, and Justin while pointing at our halway of pictures!
So many fun yummy Summer treats to enjoy! We added Bert's shaved ice shack to our checked off Summer bucket list!
Another fun park night! That little smooshed face through the peek hole gets me every time!
Aaaand finally..... Our little Adalynn is 14 months! We went to the splash pad at Settlers Park to celebrate a few days early and she had a ball! She loved to stick her face in the water and try to drink it! Silly girl!
Love,
Jordan & Elise
