Adalynn is {FIVE MONTHS}

Another month has flew by and Adalynn is now 5 months old! I am so glad I decided to take her pictures every month for the first year, she changes so fast! So far though, this last month has had the most changes :) She is so talkative and mobile....growing up way too fast!

In the process of moving and packing, doing her 5 month pictures I expected to be quite hard with all my stuff in boxes. BUT I ventured out a few days ago, beings it was sunny and warm, and I was so thrilled with the 15 minutes of shots that I got, I was so happy and giddy! Adalynn did so good and was a ham for the camera usual :) She is such a spunky sweet little girl, we are so blessed to have her!

5 Month Stats

{Physical Stuff}

- weighs 19.2 lbs

- Still in size 3 diapers and finishing up wearing 6-9 month clothes, wearing some 9-12 month clothes

-Hand eye coordination is very good, now grabs EVERYTHING within reach and most of it goes right in her mouth :)

-Loves to grab her feet while laying down, even put her toes in her mouth

-Eats 6 oz of formula every 3 to 4 hours and baby food 1-2 times a day

-Eats baby fruit and cereal, has mastered bananas, pears, apples, and peaches. Tried peas and green beans and she spit them out. We are still working on her liking veggies :)

-amount of hair has tripled since she was born, so thick and wavy on top!

{LOVES}

- jumping in the doorway and in her exersaucer

-sitting up in her highchair

-talking, making all kinds of noises, spitting, blowing bubbles, yelling

-splashing in the bath and swimming in the water

-swinging in her swing

-grabbing her feet while laying down

-cold bottles, NOT warm!

-fruit and cereal

-rolling around everywhere

-listening to daddy sing and whistle

-waking up in the morning, she squeals and giggles while waiting to be picked up out of bed

-getting in the shower with dad

-being outside

-hearing her bottle shake

-turns right around when she hears mommy's voice

-being naked

-looking around while on her belly

-playing under her play gym

-bouncing and jumping on your lap

-being held up to "stand" on the floor
-sleeping on her side
-lights and fans

{HATES}

-riding in the car around town

-warm bottles

-not sitting up in the cart

-wearing socks or shoes on her feet

-getting her nose or face wiped

{QUIRKS}

-Goes down for nap and bedtime with her blankie snuggled next to her face and her binki

-has learned to throw a "fit" complete with arching her back, yelling/screaming, and having quite the attitude

-full of attitude when she doesn't like something or doesn't want to do something (we are in for a ride)

-has learned how to pull hair and earrings (ouch!)

-Always grabbing everything including while being held in the store

-Gets so excited when she sees her bottle being mixed or the bath water running

-Will talk back and forth with you making all kinds of noises

-Will start to spit and blow bubbles when she gets mad and fussy

-Won't sit in her carseat in the cart at the store, but still a little too small to sit in the cart seat. She gets mad and wants to be held to see everything.

-EVERYTHING goes in her mouth

-super cranky from teething and not knowing what is going on with all the moving boxes everywhere
-Every morning she wakes up talking and laughing in her room till you come get her up :)
