Spring {FEVER} waiting on baby S {MAY 2017}

The Month of May rolled in and so did our anxiousness to meet baby Savannah! By that time I was completely miserable due to her measuring big along with all the wonderful things that 3rd trimester pregnancy brings :) The countdown was on!

You know it is going to be a good month when it starts off with your birthday! It was a feat to sit through a whole movie in those theatre chairs beings I was carrying baby SO LOW, but Beauty and the Beast was fantastic!!

Future Ecolab employee in training ha ha!

More pregnancy news! At this time I was being monitored closely for Cholestasis which is a scary pregnancy condition that causes itching! It was super uncomfortable and nerve wracking because test results took about a week to get back. If the bile acid levels came back too high, they have to induce you asap because it is a danger to the baby being stillborn. Talk about a worried mama!

Ugh she is so stinkin cute when she sleeps! Never gets old!

Target shenanigans :)

I was super bummed that I couldn't put Adalynn on my lap to read stories because of my big belly, but she is an awesome snuggler next to me on the couch!

9:20 AM and had to PRY this little curly sue out of bed!! That bed head though.... ha ha

Thank Heavens for little girls <3 Hair fun!

Neighborhood stroll with this cutie!!

We hadn't seen the sun what felt like a lifetime, let alone have a warm weather rain free day! So we grabbed some lunch and headed to the river beach to soak in the 85 degree weather! We baked in the sun, built sandcastles, and splashed in the water! It was pure bliss!

THIS! <3 <3 <3

Soaking up day 2 of warm weather before the 20 degree drop back to clouds and rain! We are SO ready for shorts.....

My first set of Cholestasis tests came back high for comfort, so I had to do them again to see if they improved at all. It doesn't help that the test takes a week to come back! In the meantime, I had to do several stress tests to make sure baby girl was ok. I was stressed to the max between barely sleeping at night from being uncomfortably large and itching so bad, as well as worrying like crazy about the possibility of delivering a stillborn baby. I counted kicks and movement all night long trying to ease my fears.

A beautiful sunny day and perfect morning! Farmer's Market, blanket picnic, playing at the playground, and Adalynn even found more painted rocks!

We went to go see 2 Christian comedians in Vancouver for date night. They were both hilarious!

After the show, Jordan got to meet his favorite comedian and had a total fan boy moment :)

We followed the comedy show with a yummy dinner right on the water! It was perfect!

I loved bedtime check! Good to know that Buzz is always keeping watch ha ha

Jordan helped Adalynn climb this huge tree at Marshall Park and she thought it was the coolest thing ever. I was pretty surprised beings that she HATES to get dirty!

Another funny Adalynn moment... Bagging groceries at Winco must take too long so she pulled up a comfy bench while she waited ha ha!

Mommy & me date to Wendy's and the library <3 LOVE this sweet girl SO much and trying to soak in the fact that we would have TWO princesses very very soon!!

Adalynn looked very familiar..... So I pulled out my baby book! Talk about spittin' image!

Fun family Saturday at a new play place and some yummy Costa Vida lunch :)

Adalynn was SO excited to being me her colored card with some cinnamon rolls for Mother's Day! Jordan made sure to have all kinds of treats and Dr. Pepper for me on top of a homeade steak dinner! Thank goodness for that because let's face it, there is no such thing as a good picture at 38 weeks pregnant, even if it IS Mother's Day! ha ha Adalynn looked dang cute though!

The beautiful girl that calls me "Mom" <3 Ohhh how I love you to the moon Adalynn Claire! You fill a spot in my heart that I never knew was empty. I always wanted to be a mom and when the time came, I was blessed beyond measure with your sweet perfect little soul. Your smile lights up the world! I can't imagine not having you in our family! I'll always be your biggest fan <3 Love, Mom

Adalynn's card she got for me :)

Jordan made the perfect steak dinner....I could only eat about half of this and I was STUFFED!!

Can't get enough of sleepy pictures.... She grows up overnight I swear!

Waiting this baby out with my right hand cutie! Doughnuts and a trip to IKEA to make Monday a little more bearable :)

I love how much she LOVES books! I was busy getting ready and peeked in to find her totally content just reading her bucket of books.

Last Dr. Appt before induction! My Cholestasis tests regulated to a normal level so no induction for stillborn risk was necessary. Due to her measuring large, we opted for an elective induction at 39 weeks on May 22nd :)

ha ha!!! She cracks me up... Funny bedtime pics will NEVER get old!

Met some friends at Marshall park for a morning of fun! Tried to soak in time with this cute threenager while it was just the 2 of us during the day!

This was pure Heaven! Love him!!

Our usual trip to the Farmer's Market on Saturday morning and it sure made for a tasty lunch! My favorite!

Love this boy SO much! Nightly footrubs were the highlight of this prego mama's day! Even better with a movie and some sparkling cider :) He's for sure a keeper!

Those warm Summer nights....

Enjoying our last day as a family of {THREE} with a picnic at the park!

Next stop... D day for the arrival of baby S!!!
