January: Kicking off {2017}

We were still in Twin into January enjoying our 10 days of vacation! Let the trip details continue :)

She gave Grandma quite the run for her money while we were there! Good thing that cute smile keeps her out of trouble.... most the time ha ha

You know it's serious when Papa is on the floor to play little people in the schoolhouse with her! All business :)

We went to go see Moana and it was sold out! So we settled for another round of mini golf :) Adalynn loved it so she didn't mind!

The weather in Twin was crazy while we were there! We had to stay a few extra days due to several p passes being closed to get home. Darn, we just HAD to go to Cafe Rio AGAIN lol

Still snowed in with 3 foot drifts in Twin Falls! Snow was coming down like crazy and we ended up staying even a few more days!
Adalynn is having so much fun with family, she crashes HARD for naptime! Little cutie face :)

Came out of the bathroom one night to this! She takes this baby thing seriously! She couldn't figure out why it wasn't working and then yelled, "Moooom! I need some jelly!" ha haha!! Big Sister in Training.

The big storm came in and completely dumped more snow... It was a white out blizzard!

Adalynn was dying to go out and play in the snow and we finally agreed! She waited so patiently while everyone got in their snow clothes :)

Look how high the snow is on her little body! In total, they got a good 15 inches once it finally stopped!

She was all about helping grandma use the snow shovel!

With all the snow and not being able to go anywhere, Papa took us in the truck to the movies and we finally go to see Moana!

After staying several extra days due to the crazy amounts of snow, we packed up at night hoping for good roads to travel home on! This was the weather while we loaded... It more than felt like -17! So so so soooooo cold!!!

Bright and early to leave! She wasn't a fan of getting up and going out in the cold. I don't blame her!

She slept like a rock for the first 3ish hours! Dyin over that bedhead and cute face :)

We made it through all the passes with dry roads, including the one that we got stranded on on our way down! woop woop! We did a little happy dance for no road closures and a smooth drive home :) 6am was a really early start, but I just love that bedhead!
Pit stop, picture with the bear, and back on the road.... Vancouver or Bust!

The Christmas trip saga continued when we got home....

Talk about craziness... Portland was gearing up for a big snow storm when we got back home. We went to grab groceries after being gone for 2 weeks and there wasn't a single parking spot left in the parking lot! Tons of people, lines to the back of the store, every register open, and the meat was almost completely gone! This Winter has been no joke!

By the time she is a teenage, I can only imagine how many hundreds of sleeping pictures I will have of her!

Sunday morning snuggle session <3 Church was canceled for the bad weather, so daddy slept in and us girlies made german pancakes!

Sunday skype with Uncle J! Those smiles don't get any bigger! What a pair of goobers :)

"Mommy yook at me! I snugglin' Ariel!" One of her favorite Christmas gifts that she has to take EVERYWHERE! Her cheekiness cracks me up! Grandma and Papa nailed it with her Ariel doll :)

20 week check up with my cutie in tow :) YAY for the halfway mark!! It was so fun to see her moving all around for our 20 week ultrasound that afternoon too! The technician was rather annoyed that she wouldn't sit still for very long and was literally bouncing off of all walls of my stomach! Um sorry?! I guess? My stomach was so sore afterwards between how hard she had to press the probe and how much baby girl kicked the crap out of me!

The sister matching has begun! We are gonna be broke!

Justin got me this super awesome mug for Christmas and I was thrilled to use it! Homemade salted caramel hot chocolate for the win! It was perfection on a cold night....

The snow apparently followed us home... Portland NEVER gets snow or very very rarely. This makes snow number like 4 this winter! It snowed all night long and as of 1am, we had 9 inches! "Move to Portland they said.... It only rains they said....." Liars!

How Adalynn felt about the snow day... Movie and PJ day for us! We woke up to a total of a FOOT of snow!!

After Jordan got his work done and phone calls made in the morning, we got on our snow gear and went out to play. Adalynn was ecstatic! This was one of my favorite pics! Quite the Winter Wonderland!

One of the only upsides to having a slanted driveway.... An instant sledding hill when it snows! Adalynn had soooo much fun! She could have gone down 100 more times!

Cutest little snow bunny ever!!

Snow Angels... A MUST!

Only a mother can appreciate this shot lol What a workout to shed the snow clothes for a quick trip to the potty.... I couldn't help but laugh at how stinkin cute she looked going potty with her little hat still on and rosy cheeks from being outside! Classic!

A small section that had been shoveled.... Holy snow! We were literally buried!

Jordan pulled her for a while in a storage crate up and down the street. She though that was the coolest thing! Jordan was sure a trooper after being so sick all December and well into January, but that didn't stop him from having fun with her all afternoon long!

I showed her how to eat the fresh snow ha ha At first she was like huh?! And then all of a sudden was just eating it all ha ha!! She ate quite a bit and then was out cold for her nap :)

This what being a mom is like in a nutshell. Heaven forbid I try to use the restroom by myself... Nah, let's have the door wide open and a little entertainment complete with an Easter hat and bouncy ball!

Sweet dreams baby girl <3

All the feels!! SO exciting all those fun milestones :)

Daddy grew a beard at IKEA!

"Look Mommy! I make a waterfall!" She was so excited to use the bath buckets that she got from Great Gma and Gmpa Rice for Christmas!

Naked? Yep! Cold? Not a chance! ha ha!! She always keeps me laughing and smiling :)

I LOVE having a mini me! We have LOVED seeing the sun out for the last 3 days! If it would only warm up and melt our mounds of snow and ice!

Adalynn doesn't snuggle much anymore, so when she does, I try to soak it all in! It is pretty much heaven...

When we moved into our house in May, we had some many things needed to be fixed and it has taken FOREVER for the home group to make those fixes under our warranty! A HUGE one was our granite countertops were damaged and it has been quite the process to get them replaced, BUT this day was D-day! We had fun building puzzles that she got from Aunt Kerin while watching them put them in :) She kept going up to the construction guys and saying, "Hey! That's too loud! You hurt my ears!" ha ha!!

She sure loves her "big girl" bed. Found her snuggled in one afternoon when I came out of the bathroom :)

FOR reals! This baby girl is quite the mover! Always beating me up on the inside!

It's going down for realllllls! We have a carseat and a name, so that means we are done right? ha ha! I wish... We won't talk about the clothes I have already bought or the cute girly things that I just had to have....

Quite the crappy day and this messer just added to the stress! I was tearing the house apart, trying to find my wedding ring with avail, and she was on a rage of getting into everything she shouldn't be in, with a rotten attitude to match her mischief!... and this was all before NOON!

ZzzzzZzzzzz.........

Jordan's sister Kerin and her fiance Jurgen flew to Vancouver to visit for a few days! Adalynn was thrilled and her first order of business when she got there was of course, "tato head!"

It was a balmy 50 degrees and sunny, so we braved the Zoo and had a blast!

You haven't really lived until you have pet a lizard ha ha!

It was just a little bright... Selfie fail!

I can see the resemblance can you?!

Every time we go, she has to sit here and pretend to be one of the penguins :)

Kerin and Jurgen went ice skating for a bit at the Lloyd center. We had fun walking around, playing on the toys, and shopping. Of course we couldn't leave without watching the coins spin!

At the mall, Kerin got Adalynn a Moana book and ended up having to read it to her a million times over. She loves it!

It was a sad day when they had to fly home to Idaho. Adalynn was moping all morning that they were leaving. We took a quick trip to the mall to play and of course ride the train! That seemed to cheer her up a bit before we had to drop them off :)

Date night! Date night! We don't go out very often, but are trying to change that... This was a fun night out with friends to the Lakers/Trailblazers game in Portland!

Love this boy more than words could ever say.......

There ARE Lakers fans in Vancouver ha ha! We love Tori and Justin!

You know it's going to be a good day when you get to wear umbrella hats in dance class! Best teacher ever!

Pizza feet :)

Venturing out in the sunshine for a playdate at the mall with Ruby and Dia!

51 degrees ?!?! Heat wave!!

I just love her to pieces.....

Soaking in time with dad before he flew out for the week to St. Paul, MN! We have a little bit of Spring fever!!

Unexpected item in the bagging area..... ha ha!!

Family movie night with our little popcorn monster! She liked The Secret Life Pets :)

I never thought I would say that im gonna miss these days of toothpaste on the mirror and fingerprints everywhere  She is full of moments lately that make me stop and savor the little things in the midst of the chaos. This morning while getting her dressed, she randomly grabbed my face, laid a big kiss on my cheek, and looked into my eyes and said, " I yove you very much mommy!" It's moments like these that make me feel overwhelming gratitude to my Heavenly Father for blessing me with this life, this role as a mom, and most of all, this sweet special little angel  N E V E R. G R O W. U P

This pretty much sums it all up... Pure miracle!

These guys have kept us sane since we moved to Vancouver and we LOVE having them as good friends! Sundays are sweeter with fire fun, treats, popcorn, a movie, and the best of all, FRIENDS!

What do we do when daddy is out of town? Have a girl's PJ breakfast date to Krispy Kreme! Adalynn thought it was so cool to be out in her jammies!

Always a huge smile for bath time! I just can't get enough of her <3

And this isn't even ALL of her PEZ! She loves lining them up and has to bring them in the bath everytime and name all of them as she puts them up <3

We sure lived it up and did so many fun things to get out of the house while Jordan was away working for the week. We headed out to meet up with Heather, Ruby, and Dia to see Moana again!

The girls had so much fun and the audience was gracious as Adalynn sung along and farted loudly multiple times! ha ha whoops!

And there you have it.... There went January! Just like that! Lots of fun and one month closer to meeting princess #2 :)
