April {2016} :::::: Last month in {BOISE}

Ahhh April.... WOW is all I can say. Such a crazy crazy month that seems like a blur! I'm only 22 days behind blogging it, but who is counting?! Finally getting a second, after the move, to recap April! Here we go.... First post of a few!

A beautiful day calls for a bike ride and some park play! She lights up our world!

She made my Monday and actually LET me hold her while she fell asleep!

I couldn't be more happy to be a mom to this big hearted girl! She makes me smile and laugh till my face hurts, gives the best hugs & kisses, knows just how to teach me to be a better person, and most importantly, how to love unconditionally! What a sweet spot she has in my heart.... I never knew I could love a little person as much as I love her!!

It is a hard life when nothing comes out of the vending machine while we wait to get the tires rotated! lol

A fun sunny day with my little squirt! I love being home with her!

People may or may not be sick of posts of our girl, but dangit, how do you not take a pic EVER day of that cuteness??!

Besties <3

April was rough. April was REALLY rough. I was struggling with the headache of moving & buying/selling a house, as welling as the heartache of not wanting to leave Boise. There were many tears for every reason you can imagine. Jordan left work and brought me home these 24 pink and red "I love you's" (as he put it). I may or may not have cried some more.....

The toddler life is rough... She went non-stop all day! Cracking me up with that belly hanging out :)

Jordan flew to Portland for a meeting so us girls had some fun :) Of course we had to have a date to Chick-fil-a so this girl could play!

.....and the result.... All wore out!

We picked up Jordan from the airport and she wouldn't leave his lap! Reading her Thomas book <3

Family icecream date!

That skeptical look.....lol gotta make sure there is a Reeses peanut butter cup chunk in every bite before she eats it!! Hilarious!

Finding the positives of moving was hard for me, but I was sure glad to be leaving the freaking train in Kuna!! Loud, annoying, and totally obnoxious.... Adalynn totally loved the train though and that is how she started loving trains to begin with!

A little daddy daughter date at Planet Kid <3 Her favorite spot, the ball pit!!

Dinner and show... Such an entertainer!! TaDaaaaa!

As I have said before like a million times, I am kinda obsessed with pictures of her sleeping <3

Last weekend in Boise and she is livin' it up!

Hanging out in the car while daddy does a work call real fast! So of course, selfies!

We barely got home from church and changed our clothes and Adalynn climbed up to the table with a mat saying, "Time to eat!!" Ha Ha!! She knows how Sunday home cooking works <3

Always stylin' with those shades!

You know she is tired when she ASKS to go take a nap... Whhhaaat?!

Park fun! Brace yourself daddy! Ha! That face says it all

The weekend before we moved, we planned a birthday party for Adalynn in Twin Falls. Her and I went down a few days early to hang out and do a few sessions. The car ride there was hilarious! The Foot Book is one of her favorite books, and she insisted  on reading it to me, from memory, on the drive down <3 I totally love this picture! Concentrating so hard :)

The first day we were in Twin Falls, it was so nice and warm! We packed a picnic with my parents and headed to the First Federal Park to have some fun! She was so excited to play with Grandma and Papa!

Her FAVORITE slide!!

Grandma confirmed that this roller slide wasn't adult bum friendly... lol that face! YIKES!

Peek A Boo!!

She couldn't get enough of Papa swinging her! She kept saying Again! Again! and then walking around all dizzy before falling over lol

We went to go meet my dad on his lunch in Jerome. All us girlies were in our glasses waiting for him to come out!

She partied hard with the girls and crashed just as hard!

She knows exactly how much she has her papa wrapped around her finger. Every day we were there, Adalynn would patiently watch out the window for my dad to pull up after work, and then make him take her out back to play on the slide and swing. And with that cute face, there was no way he could say no! They would stay out there and play all night if they could!

I headed off to a photography session and Adalynn had a blast playing in my parents backyard.

Since we would be moving on my birthday the following weekend, we had a little date night when Jordan got there on Friday night. Of course Adalynn was thrilled to be able to stay behind and play with Grandma and Papa.

Seriously one of my most favorite pictures!!! The way they look at each other!! < 3

When we are in Twin, I am chop suey... Everything has to be done by "gamma" because clearly she is more fun than mommy :)

The weather for her party on Saturday turned ugly, so we had to move it indoors. My mom was super bummed because she wouldn't be able to ride her scooter they got her! So... they pulled it out while we were on our date and let her ride it a bit. She was so determined to figure it out! They even sent me a pic while we were out. Too cute!!

Since we couldn't have her party at the park due to the rain, we had it at Gertie's. She was thrilled to have her Minnie Party finally and was totally spoiled. See all the details and TONS of pictures on the next post, her birthday post!

The Minnie Party wore EVERYONE out! #naptime

We didn't have much extra time to spend in Twin Falls with our families, so we just all went swimming at 1000 Springs our last night there. Afterall, we are water people and Adalynn is a little fish <3

Adalynn was quite the ham after church on Sunday! My mom snapped some seriously cute pics of her in her dress and of course, I am totally dying over them! ughhh we love her SOOOO much!!

We were loading up and my dad was getting ready to grill dinner. He opened the BBQ to light it and found a full blown nest with robin eggs in it!! That happened the year before too! So super cool!

Jordan flew out to Seattle for a few days right when we got back from Twin Falls. So us girls were on our own and I tried to get her out to play as much as I could since the next few weeks were going to be rough moving! We grabbed some dinner at Carl's Jr and she played on the toys for a bit :)

Those Morrow genes are already getting the best of our little girl! Had to dig out this ginormous ingrown toenail and she was a total trooper!

~MOVING DAY~
Well.... Moving day came! In a nutshell, it was horrible. It was beyond horrible. We had so many problems from our moving company, the truck, information we weren't told, and the list goes on and on! My mom, grandma and grandpa came up for the day and had all kinds of fun with Adalynn so we could make sure the mover were taking care of everything and so we could sign paperwork on both houses. Surprisingly enough, I didn't take any pictures. Not a single one. Why? Well plain and simple, my heart hurt too much. A lot actually. I loved everything about where we lived. Our friends, our neighbors, closeness to family, the area, all of that good stuff. I was completely heartbroken to have to leave. Knowing that we were headed where we were supposed to be, didn't make it any easier. I spent the better part of the day in tears. Our second mom and family, The Taylors, came over to say bye with a goodie bag. That totally and completely broke my heart.... With so much going wrong and not wanting to go, My heart seriously hurt so bad. Ached. It was just one of those things you  just "did" and kept going... After literally not one inch left in the truck, the movers took off to our new house, and we met up with family for dinner. In the meantime, we discovered that Adalynn had a nasty ear infection that she was SCREAMING about. I was about to have a breakdown. We were literally about an hour from taking off in the car to Washington and here our baby girl was in so much pain. I felt like nothing could possibly get worse!! THANKFULLY her doctor is family and she was able to get medicine in time so we could leave. She zonked out just in time to get on the road. Goodbyes were full of tears, hugs, and "see ya laters"..... No turning back now. Our maxima was completely full and we were headed to our new adventure.

We made it halfway to Pendleton and got in around 130 in the morning. We literally crashed and were living on a prayer. Adalynn was up all night from her ear infection and I was with her on her mattress on the floor. We got up and left the next morning to meet our realtor at our new house for some measurements. Once we arrived, a whole new set of problems came flooding in. Our new house was brand new, but there was some stuff that was supposed to be fixed before we closed the next day. When we came in to take measurements, we found that the list of things hadn't been fixed let alone cleaned for us to move in tomorrow. I was freaking out and furious. It is hard enough to move your family to another state, let alone to deal with so many problems of people not doing their job. The assured us it would all be fixed by the next morning when we moved in. I was highly skeptical, but there was nothing we could do. We were in a hotel for a few days while we got everything in the house, so we went to check in and take deep breath.....

Adalynn had waited so patiently all day to be able to swim, and the time finally came. Of course she had to run!

All about splashing daddy to get back at him for so many hours driving in the car! lol

Bright and early the next morning we headed over with the movers to move in to our new house. It was pouring rain. The title company was taking their sweet time recording it while we waited anxiously outside with the moving truck. It was one of the weirdest feelings to have your whole family and everything all lumped into a truck right in front of you. A little overwhelming for sure.... We walked into the house to find that nothing had been fixed, more things were wrong, the house hadn't been cleaned..... Yeah I was gonna lose it. Totally lose it. On top of the fact that the movers would be bringing in boxes with wet feet in and out on our hardwood floors..... PERFECT!! Our Washington realtor was a total joke and didn't follow up on anything, so we were left to figure it all out.....

I took Adalynn to the store to get some things for the house while Jordan dealt with it all, because I would have lost it if I would have stayed there. SO frustrated, SO angry, and SO done with all the things going wrong..... I pulled into the Target parking lot and just cried in the car. Sobbed actually. Coincidentally, a long time friend just happened to randomly message me during that time and wrote some really sweet words without even knowing our circumstances or problems. It was sure a ray of sunshine and really just felt like a hug from Heavenly Father saying everything would be ok. The next several days were a total blur. We had so many things and large furniture items to buy/assemble to make our house function correctly on top of making a million phone calls to make sure our house got fixed. We shopped all day, threw food down in between, and barely made it back to the hotel by 11 every night. Poor Adalynn. She was pooped, sick of the car, and missed being able to play with her toys. Talk about feeling guilty. We tried to take her to places to play, but it just wasn't the same. She was totally confused and in turn just wasn't herself.

"Uggghhh not another furniture store mom...."

Little did we know that our problems were just getting started! Stay tuned for the May blog post for the 411 of our first week in the new house.... It's a doozy!

Up next is all about Adalynn turning the big {TWO} <3
