The second half of September continues! We like to party.... all month long :) ha ha
So grateful to get to spend days at home with this goober!
She was pretty thrilled to get to see the Garbage truck come by TWICE and a DOG too! What a great day to be alive!
After no morning nap followed by a fry fiasco and a royal fit at Red Robin, this was the result....
A fun afternoon feeding the ducks and playing at the park!
The ducks were pretty cool, but the park is a close second :)
We sure love weekends off with dad! Those smiles just melt me!
Well you know what they say....books are better read NAKED! ha ha! I barely got her dry out of the tub before she ran to get a book to read :)
That sure looks comfy all smashed up against the bumper lol
OH boy.... She was thrilled to be reading her Elmo book WITH her Elmo slippers on. Seriously we live in an Elmo and Sesame Street EVERYTHING world EVERYday!
Running errands and this girl is always being silly! Don't know how we ever lived without that smile :)
The Voice is a family affair at our house :) She was clapping and dancing along and would announce "All Done!" when they walked off stage ha ha! Such a great premiere!
This girl ate ALL of her spaghetti WITH her fork to boot! WOW!
I LOVE this girl. SO much. But just because I love her, doesn't mean some days aren't rough. That whole "mom guilt" thing is totally real. And it hurts. It aches actually. She happened to have pushed every button I ever thought I had and even beyond that. I used a not-so-nice voice many times and let my frustration get the best of me a few times..... I'm so grateful to be able to tell her I love you and I'm sorry and get unconditional love like this in return. Tomorrow is a new day, but until then, I will make the best of today and snuggle her tight, for moments like these go way too fast
The back of our house is a horse pasture that belongs to someone else. They have 2 mustang horses that roam around and Adalynn LOVES them! She always looks out our slider and makes the horse sound while looking to see where they are! Well they were pretty close to our fence one night so we headed out to feed them some celery and say hi! Adalynn got to pet them and was so excited to feed them celery and have them eat it out of her hand!
Whoops wrong mouth missy!
What an amazing sunset to end our fun day!
This girl has a special place in her heart for chicken nuggets and honey mustard! That cheeser smile is to die for!! I just want to eat her up!
The time finally came to head to Utah and go to Lagoon! We were a bit excited! Jordan's brother Nolan went with us too to go see a friend :)
Utah bound!
Daddy bought her her first PEZ dispenser that was Minnie Mouse! She was in heaven :) Lucky girl!
After visiting some friends, we stopped at a little park to play and grabbed some dinner
We of course had to stop at Target! She loved wearing a mask, but not so much when Daddy came at her with a Darth Vader mask on!
Lagoon Day! She was so excited and was just taking everything in!
This blank stare is in almost every picture from Lagoon ha ha! It was the first time she had ever done rides that move or an amusement park so she was trying to figure it all out :)
Driving the boat with Grandpa paid off! She is driving solo now! lol
About halfway through the rides, she finally started to crack some smiles! She would wave to us and grin from her seat :)
Ugh this picture melts my heart.... Every ride Jordan made sure that she was all good to go while I was busy snapping away. He sure loves his little girl!
The train ride to see all the animals in the zoo was definitely one of her favorite things! She LOVES trains and even more she LOVES animals!
White Siberian Tiger!
Ha ha everytime we went by the Lion, she went RAWRRRR!!!
The guys headed off to do some coasters, so we hung out on the carousel for a bit :) She had a blast!
Taking a couple selfie with this gem is priceless. So many faces!
Crackers and the carousel.. she is golden!
Later in the evening, Adalynn stayed with my cousins so we could all do some roller coasters late night :)
Before we went back home, we made sure to stop and see my cousin Tenille and meet her little man Truxton! Tenille is exactly 6 months to the day younger than me, and our kiddos are 1 month apart to the day! So fun :) Glad we these 2 crazies finally got to meet! Fun to catch up :)
This girl travels like a gem..... Almost every trip, she sleeps the majority of the way!
Mondays are fun with this silly girl! Her smile and fun personality is so contagious!
My grandparents and my family went to Arizona to my Cousin, Riley's homecoming from England! My brothers and grandma and grandpa flew back a little early, so we went to pick them up in Boise and bring them to their car! We also grabbed some dinner with them :)
Always has a book and is so content reading! I love our little bookworm!
Never a dull moment! This girl is so fun!
Hard to believe that our little girl is 17 Months! We love her SO much!
Adalynn got her first paint job! Well it only took me 17 months to get her to hold still long enough, but how cute is that?! She kept pointing to her nails and saying, "pretty!"
Well that wraps up September! So fun to be able to do so many things and trips! We are so blessed! Excited for what Fall brings and coming up holidays!
Love,
Jordan & Elise
