Another month gone and more pictures and stats of Miss Adalynn! Hard to believe that she has been out as long as she was in :) This stage is so much fun and boy is she on the move, not wanting to be a baby anymore!
She even upgraded to a "big girl" carseat! A little excited trying it out in the store can ya tell?!
I was so excited to doll her up for pictures this month for Valentine's day, and let's just say that she gave us a run for our money trying to do her shoot! Yes you read that right, US! I recruited Jordan to help me out with them the other night because she is so fast and SO stinkin mobile now! She was not in the mood to take pics AT ALL! Always happy and smiling until you put the camera up at her and all we could barely get was smirk! Usually daddy gets all sorts of smiles from her, but nope she just wasn't having it!
Here are her 9 month pictures and stats :)
When in doubt, let her eat some conversation hearts for a few shots!
Such a cutie pants! I just want to eat her up!

{QUIRKS & STORIES}
-Adalynn LOVES playing by the dishwasher when I am loading it. She moves the rack back and forth and pulls herself up on the door. One day however, she gave me a royal heart attack. Our silverware bin is in the dishwasher door. I looked away for less than 10 seconds to wash another dish to put in and looked back to find her swinging around a large chopping knife from the silverware bin!!!! I screamed as loud as I could to scare her into freezing so I could take it away. I'm sure our next door neighbors heard it! Thankfully she was holding the knife by the BACK of the blade, but was sure one touch away from grabbing the front of the blade and severing her whole hand. Holy cow what a scary moment!!
-We have a video monitor on Adalynn's crib. She always looks at it and the orange light on the top. You can also talk to her through it while she is in bed. One night she was playing for a long time in her crib and not going to sleep. Jordan pressed down on the monitor and told her to go to sleep. She was up on her knees staring at the monitor and when Jordan told her to go to sleep, she look into the camera and said, "Daaaaadddd???!" in her cutest innocent voice. Ahhh heart melted! She knows voices especially her daddy's!
-She spots cords and wires from a mile away! Everything from computer cords to charging cords and any type of cord, she takes off super fast to go put in it in her mouth to chew on it. Definitely gotta be fast with her or they end up in her mouth in a split second!
-She is quite the little daredevil and crawls under and around EVERYTHING! Always under the table and under her highchair of course with a few head hitting casualties, but that doesn't stop her! She is so curious and such an adventurous little girl!
-Got her first big "owie" while watching the superbowl with family :( During the half time show she was pulling herself up on a little nightstand. She misstepped with her feet under her and hit her forehead on the corner of the table. Ouch! Left a knot and a little bruise on her head, but was pretty much gone by the next day. Strong girl! Didn't even hardly cry much!
-If you tell her no and chase after her, she crawls way faster because she knows you're coming to take it away. So funny! Hard not to laugh..
