For some crazy reason, I thought that once the new year hit, things would slow down and I would have lots of time to keep up on things and doing this bloggin' thing. HA! That's funny :)
Always something happening at our house! This past month and a half really hasn't brought any BIG things happening really, but it has definitely had tons of little moments that we cherish! Of course, little moments are best documented with pictures! Actually everything with me is documented with pictures, but you get what I mean. Welcome to our month of mostly {LITTLE} moments!
Warning you now that a good majority of the bazillion pictures in this post are of our sweet girl so if you have seen too much of her on facebook, then steer clear of this post! Capturing everyday little bits are so important to me and what can I say, she is kind of our world!

Rewind to the beginning of January....
Adalynn had so much fun at Christmas, she wasn't ready to be done! I bought a few bags of bows on sale for next year and look what she found... :) Silly girl!
Loves her toys! Such a fun winter morning :)
Grandma Morrow got her some cut little clippies for Christmas. I put one in her hair and was blown away at how grown up she looks!
I have been dying to scrapbook since we got married, just to finish our wedding and honeymoon book! Life gets busy and now with Adalynn running around, its next to impossible! One night, Jordan came home early from work and took Adalynn so I could scrap the WHOLE rest of the afternoon and night! I was so thrilled to be in my happy place with some tunes and a HUGE Dr. Pepper! SO much fun!
I am pretty obsessed with sleeping pics of Adalynn. Whether napping or going to bed at night, I could just stare at her forever! Only a mom can love that bedhead and cute sleeping positions :)
I got a Chili's gift card for Christmas from my mother in law so we headed out for a lunch date and of course had to document. Eating out with a little one, you don't remember much in between picking up toys off the floor and shoving snacks at them!
Everyday is a new adventure for Baby A. She always has to be in the kitchen with me while I am doing dishes or cooking. She LOVES to make faces in the fridge reflection. She waves to herself and gives kisses. So cute!
Adalynn doesn't mess around when it comes to her ducky loofah!
Enjoying a drive into town for a girls lunch with a friend! Great to catch up and eat some good pizza!
Little missy wasn't sleeping and hard core teething her top teeth, so we made an appearance to go see Dr. Aaron to make sure she didn't have an ear infection. She is thrilled to be there can ya tell?!
This little missy has dived into table foods and LOVES steamed green beans!
Every Saturday, Jordan plays in a ward league with his boss and of course we go to watch! A little hard with this booger running around though :)
We went to our favorite mexican restaurant in Kuna for dinner and Adalynn ended up LOVING the refried beans. Problem was she thought it was so funny to not give the spoon back. Little gremlin face! Her diaper as a result of the beans wasn't so pretty ha ha :)
OH just watching Ellen with my Ellen watchign
We love going into town to meet up with Jordan for lunch in Meridian! She just gets cuter and cuter every day. I can resist taking a million pictures a day!
Nap time!
Always got her little bum in the air like she just don't care!
Gotta love that Garden Veggie baby food! What a face :)
Troublemaker is an understatement for this girl.... Always into everything. Love that guilty face. Priceless!
We had a spell in January where it was dark and snowy and cold for over a week. This particular day Adalynn discovered the sliding glass door outside and was fascinated to watch the freezing rain and snow fall. The wonder in her face just makes my heart melt! Grateful for little moments of happiness like this <3
Another adventure of that morning.... discovering the doorstop! Who needs toys?! She played with this for over 15 minutes!
Ok well most of the pictures I post are happy or funny or cute, but the truth is, life with a little one isn't always a cake walk. There are some days when you just wanna pull your hair out and go hide in the bathroom corner. This was one of those days. After being so worked up about the day full of stresses, I sat down to rock her to sleep and was so at peace just holding her. Being a mom is full of so many different lessons, this being the lesson of let it go and start fresh tomorrow. My heart was so full after seeing her peacefully sleeping in my arms <3
Being home all week with Adalynn is great, but having Jordan home with us on the weekends is a real treat. Ready for the freakin weekend!!
First time with strawberries and she loved them! YUM!
Now that is true talent.... Balancing sitting up while eating your toes. Impressive baby girl!
Love our trips to Costco. Just playing around while daddy gets our food!
At it again and up to no good! Look mommy I found the tupperware cupboard!! Uh oh....
Jordan has a district meeting once a quarter and the middle place is Twin Falls! So we headed town the night before his meeting and tagged along to hang out with my mom while he was working the next day! Since we went down the night before, we got to catch a Bruins Basketball game at my high school. So much fun!
Jordan had a regional boss at his district meeting, so he had to get a new suit to wear to the event! What a handsome guy!
Snuggled in sleeping at Grandma Morrow's house :)
Adalynn knows right where the toy basket is at Grandma Morrow's house! She always has new toys and fun things for her when we come! Grandmas are fun :)
The fun didn't stop all day while daddy was at his meeting! She played the piano with Great Grandma that came to play with her, read bedtime stories the night before with Grandma Morrow, and even played with Scooter the next day! Scooter has always been super jealous of her, but as soon as she tried to share a cracker with him, they were buds now that he knew she had food! So funny!
Back to being home! In case I haven't mentioned it enough, Adalynn LOVES toys!! She loves to pull her basket of toys over in the living room and will sit there forever playing with all of them, especially the ones that make noise! Love that happy face :)
........and just a few more because I just can't get enough of that smile!
In the mornings, she plays and eats breakfast, but once Mickey Mouse Clubhouse comes on, this is what happens..... She LOVES watching and even now bounces and claps to the songs!
Just another day of being the cutest thing ever <3
Just being daddy's cheerleaders while he plays ball with his boss!
Hey look who came to visit us! Auntie Kerin! Kerin's boyfriend was looking at a car to buy close by us, so they came to hang out with us for a few days!
Teething has been doing a number on Adalynn.... She has been sleeping through the night since she was about 3 months so waking up several times now, you know something is wrong! She has been trying to cut her top teeth and wakes up several times during the night moaning and crying. This particular morning, she slept till 10am! and this momma sure needed it. Yay!
Just a mommy and me selfie... nbd
Another discovery.... the dishwasher!! She did give me a serious heart attack a few days after this discovery though... I was loading the dishwasher and thanks to the lovely silverware compartment on the door, she grabbed a big butcher knife in a slip second that I wasn't looking. I looked over and she was waving the knife thank goodness by the BACK of the blade, but was one swift grab away from the FRONT of the blade. I screamed at the top of my lungs which thankfully scared her enough to freeze while I grabbed it from her. I sat on the couch breathing super hard like my life just flashed before my eyes.... SO scary!!! Never a dull moment at our house...
Jordan got a work call late one night and on the way home got me an icecream sundae. Adalynn thought she needed some too! It must have been good since she is wearing a large portion of it on her shirt! ha ha!
This fish is always trying to crawl out of the tub...... when she isn't trying to drink the water that it is :)
She thinks she is Queen of the remote when daddy is at work.... her little smirk says it all just chillin on the couch watching mickey mouse clubhouse!
Snuggles with mom <3
Fun night at Meridian Middle School watching daddy play ball! What a crazy night! I was sure that there would be a fight with how rough the game was, but we ended up finishing the night with just a few choice words. I'll take it!! Adalynn loves to lean over the stands and watch intently :)
On the move pausing only for a moment wondering why mommy is trying to take her picture every 5 seconds. Such a cutie! LOVE this shot..... Look at those bright blue eyes!
Days that daddy can come home a little early to play are the best! Here dad, lemme help you play your game :)
9 months old! She has been out as long as she was in :) Such a playful and pretty little girl. We just love her to pieces!
New carseat for this growing girl that 2 inches taller than most babies! She is a bit excited in the store can ya tell?!
Weekends are usually pretty mellow at our house, but we decided to head into town and go swimming and have some fun! How can you resist that cute swimsuit smile??!!! Lots of pictures with dad. She is such a little fish :)
She looooves having my wallet... not sure why? She must know where the money is at :) She held it like this through the whole store! "Don't you think about takin my momma's wallet!"
Valentine Pics for Adalynn's 9 month pictures! Holidays are fun :)
My grandma's sister lives here in Meridian and we see them from time to time. For the superbowl, my grandparents came up and we had a little get together over at Carol and Fred's house in Meriidan to watch the superbowl! Even though we were divided on who we wanted to win, we had a ton of fun!
Just a few pics on the way because Adalynn was feeling extra cheeky :)
Playing with Great Grandma Rice!
She loved uncle Fred too!
This was right before her first actual "owie!" While everyone else was watching the half time show, Adalynn decided to smack her head on the corner of this table :( A bit knot and bruise, but it was pretty much gone the next day thank goodness!
The playing continues even after we get home!
Always love snuggles with my favorite giggly girl!
uh oh! Another mess......I didn't do it mommy!
That cute little side smirk that she does is pretty much the cutest thing ever! Yes another Target cart pic... we just won't talk about how many of those I have...... lol
Baby A had her first pickle and loved it! A few licks and next think you know, she has a full grip of it! YUM!
The first week in February, my mom and a bunch of scrapbook buddies did a scrapbook retreat in Twin Falls. Usually shoe does one twice a year where we all get together for 3 days and scrapbook and have some girl time. I was so excited that we worked things out so I could go! I have been dying to get ahead on our wedding and honeymoon book, so I was thrilled to go! Adalynn and I took off for Twin Falls while Jordan stayed home and his brother came to visit and have a guy weekend!
I was a little nervous about the 2 hour drive with Adalynn's new "big girl" carseat beings that it isn't the greatest for her to sleep in, but she did great and was a ham the whole way there! Talking non stop and making every sound you can imagine. I love that little sweet pea!
Sleeping soundly at Grandma's! You would never know she wasn't home in her own bed!
I bought her these cute Nike's while I was pregnant because I just couldn't resist and she was able to wear them finally while we were in Twin! Girls are so much fun!
My cousin, Tasi, just recently moved to Twin Falls and has little ones too. So Adalynn went out there one of the retreat days to play with Brynlee and Brecken. She had a ball! Didn't even care when I walked out the door, just crawled off to play with Brecken! I almost didn't know what to do with myself being without her all day.... But I sure was happy to see her later that day :)
Also while I was there, I FINALLY got my hair cut and colored! Seems like ages since it was done and it was wayyyyy overdo! Hali did a great job! Cut over 6 inches off, layers, and highlights. What a difference! Feels so much better :) It's the little things once you become a mom!
OH goodness what a fun uncle! Eric came up on Saturday and pushed her up and down the halls of the church for a basket ride. She laughed and squealed the whole time. Priceless!
Adalynn was so good and well behaved ! I was worried if I would be able to get anything done while I had her, but I was wrong. She played and played, napped in one of the rooms, and breaked for meals in her chair. Ravioli for the win!
Headed home from a weekend of fun. She was out the minute we hit the freeway!
We got home, changed quickly, and had a little fun with Jordan's brother Nolan before he headed back home to Twin. She was pooped!
This is what daddy does when he hasn't seen Adalynn for 3 days.. he wears piglet on his head! Hilarious!
OH gotta love breakfast time! So full of sass in the morning! Crazy that she is down to 1 bottle a day at night, and the rest of the time table food and a sippy cup! She is so independent! She refuses to eat baby food and would rather do it herself otherwise she just won't eat! Little stinker!
Target again... How can I resist that cute face and bright blue eyes?! It is our happy place for sure :)
I totally hate grocery shopping, but at least I have this super cute face to look at and keep my entertained!
The weather has been warming up and I couldn't wait to take Adalynn to the park! We waited for Jordan to get home from work and apparently we waited too long because it was pretty chilly by then! We got a few smiles and then headed home :)
Breakfast of champions! Granola Bar with Strawberries and bananas. Oh and juice. Her FAVORITE part :)
Had to run into town for a few quick errands and she just didn't last. She was GONE!
Soaking in all the sunshine! Can't wait for warmer weather!
She LOVES food and eats EVERYTHING! Apparently wearing your food is just as good as eating it :) Mashed potatoes for lunch and blackberries with dinner were a hit!
Always into something and finding new things! So relieved I don't have to do laundry anymore since she seems to have it under control ;)
That same day, she found her way to figuring out the toilet paper! How convenient for #tbt! I am on the right. Look familiar?!
Such a pretty little lady <3
Just doin a little Valentine's Day shoppin!
Target Valentine's Day shopping was just too much to handle I guess!
Morning time snuggles and fun.... or selfies?
Just standing up like she's a big girl or somethin'.... Where did my baby go???
This is how we party on a Friday night... Naked baby buns for the shower :) and boy was she excited with the grin to show it!
Valentine's day with a little one isn't easy, but we were excited to just spend the weekend together and do some fun things! Jordan came home Friday with FRESH doughnuts from Krispy Kreme to start off Valentine's Day weekend. OH YES! This is why I married him!
Happy Valentine's day!!!
This hunk of mine works so hard for our family, that I don't get to take pictures with him too often. We made sure to get a few before we headed out for a fun day!
XOXO
We were originally going to take a picnic to the park, but instead we ended up eating at our favorite pizza place and then enjoying the park mess free! Adalynn's first time on the swings was a success and she LOVED them! That face of hers looking at her daddy just melts my heart <3
Adalynn even got some bling on Valentine's day! She got her ears pierced and did sooo good! Yep she screamed bloody murder but then was back to her smiley self in the car!
All dressed up for church and being quite the stinker!! After chasing her in and out of the chapel, wrestling her on our laps, and then her filling my heel shoe with throw up, I was on the verge of losing it last Sunday! Needless to say we came home and took a long nap!
Sunday naps are the best and she's got the hair do to prove it!
This little tiger ate FOUR chicken nuggets and a WHOLE cuties orange for lunch the other day.... Sheesh! Hungry girl I guess!
We are getting ready to file our taxes and Jordan was pulling things out of the file box. Adalynn thought he needed some help apparently! ha ha
Oh just waving hi to the Garbage Truck :) She cracks me up!
I decided to do some "deep cleaning" around the house and boy did it kick my butt! A big huge Dr. Pepper was much deserved afterwards as well as a shopping trip!
Guess I shopped a little too long lol
That cute smile was wayy worth the mess! She loves her some spaghetti!
Well those are adventures on the Martitz front! Always something fun happening :) Looking forward to some weekend fun coming up! Hard to believe that Adalynn's FIRST birthday is sneaking up on us. WHAT???!!! Uggghh too big too fast!
Until next time <3
Love,
Jordan and Elise

While we scrapbooked, I had a little play yard set up for Adalynn to play in with her toys. She loved it! Eric and Justin came up everyday after school and work to play with her. Of course they had to get IN the play yard with her. What awesome uncles! You can't tell they love her her anything :)
