Had to wait till our Christmas cards had been send out before I could post Miss Adalynn's 7 month pictures so I am a few days late ;)
Time continues to fly and it is still so hard to believe that Adalynn is so big already! She is changing so much and progressing so fast! Lots of new development and motor skill changes :)
Here are her 7 month pictures and stats!
I had so much fun doing her Christmas pictures, but now that she is getting bigger, it is so hard to try and get her to smile AND take the picture! So this is the best I could get and I love how they turned out :) Our little Santa Baby! We even had to buy her little car and trailer JUST for her pictures! Jordan wasn't too thrilled, but she will love to play in it come summer!
-Weighs 20 lbs
-has 2 bottom teeth
-Wearing 12 month pants and onesies
-Size 2 shoes (When she keeps them on!) Going to be a LONG winter with her pulling her socks and shoes off every 5 seconds... LITERALLY 5 seconds!
-Loves to cram her toes in her mouth
-Always playing with her feet
-Is within a few days of crawling! She has got super fast at army crawling all over the living room and scooting on her belly and legs to reach her toys
-Talks non-stop and says more defined sounds now like da-da-da-da
-Loves solid foods! She loves to eat mashed potatoes now, especially when out at a restaurant with us
-Down to 4 bottles a day (8oz each) and baby food in between
-Has graduated to bigger nipple binkis and the "fast" nipple on her bottle.
-Sleeps from 10pm-815am and takes 3 naps a day
-Puts herself to sleep in her bed with her blankie and binki
-Hair is growing at a crazy fast rate! Bedhead is now a reality :) Smashed curls, but the cutest ever!
-She now gives "kisses" when asked for a "kiss". She holds on to your face and lays an open mouth wet one on your cheek. Cutest thing EVER!!
-She also gives "fives"!
-Quite the "spitter" when she eats and when she is being silly. How ironic that her favorite time to spit is in church!
-Such a good happy baby and just rides along in the car now, happy go lucky as can be!
-Gets "chills" and does a funny little face and squirm. SO cute!
{LOVES}
-riding in the stroller (loves to kick and talk to everyone)
-to make all kinds of sounds along with her favorite sound Cccccccccccc :) She also loves to make the gargling sound.
-rolling around and playing with toys on the living room floor
-jumping so high in her exersaucer
-grabbing EVERYTHING with her hands within reach, especially faces and any jewelry you are wearing
-grunting and kicking while arching her back, especially while eating baby food or a bottle. It is quite the game to her! She grunts to be funny!
-showers with dad
-the tub (She can now sit up on her own in the tub and play with toys!)
-sleeping on her stomach
-watching her bottle being shaken- She giggles and gets excited with anticipation
-chewing on her binki nipple. She even puts the WHOLE thing in her mouth to chew on it! Loves to play with it however she can
-to smile and kick like crazy when she sees someone she knows
-Sitting in a big girl highchair when we go out to eat
-to eat yogurt drops and cereal puffs
-Gerber baby yogurt
- to "fake" cough. She will go back and forth with you coughing and laughing like it is funny
-to see Santa! She went and saw Santa for the first time while in Twin Falls and she was all smiles and a happy girl!
-Cell phones. She will dive for your phone if it is within reach and lit up. Oh boy we are in for a ride!
{HATES}
-getting dressed
-wearing socks
-getting her face wiped after eating baby food
-keeping shoes on, rubs them together until them come off or kicks them on the stroller till they come off
-when you mix her baby food in front of her. She squirms and whines like you aren't feeding her fast enough!
-getting her hair rinsed when getting a bath
{QUIRKS}
-Such a happy, sweet girl unless she is tired or hungry
-so much attitude sounds and grunts
-when she gets excited or really happy she giggles really cute
-She is known for her extremely loud farts and burps
-We are at the tail end of her blowouts from her teeth breaking through. She recently had a blowout in church that involved blowing out of her dress and tights, and then her smearing it all over her hands and face. YUCK!!
-Has the most hilarious "poop" face you have ever seen. No secret when she is messing her pants!
-When she hears the tub water or shower water running, she starts giggling and getting all excited. She LOVES water!
-If you put a shiny bow on the floor a little ways away from her, she will army crawl so fast and grab the carpet to pull her self closer to it and grab it. SOOOO funny!!! We thought because of this, she would be in the presents under the tree so fast since they all have bows on them, but she leaves them be surprisingly ;)
We put up the tree thinking that she would be super in to the lights and all the sparkly shiny ornaments, but she doesn't really notice at all. If you hold her up to the tree though she goes crazy trying to grab the lights and ornaments!
Jordan and I are SO excited for her first Christmas! She is sure to be spoiled by us and all her grandparents and family! Such a cute and fun little girl that we are so blessed to have in our family!!
