The weather has warmed up and we are sooooo excited for Summer!! Lewiston is right above sea level so it is the hottest place in Idaho and can get up to 110 degrees in the Summer!! Whew! We didn't really have a "warm period". It went from cold to hot and has been scorching ever since. Last week it was 95 outside for several days. I took a picture on my way home from work to prove we were in the 90's :) Yes we cranked on the AC and enjoyed the sunshine and being able to do things outside finally!!
Sporting some Summer colors and crazy curly hair!!
Speaking of nice weather, we are LOVING the new car :) Nice weather takes on a whole new meaning when you can open the sunroof and catch some rays! The maxima got it's first car wash and it was so sparkling clean, I couldn't resist taking a pic of it. Ya it is kind of my baby :)
Sunroof down and driving to Spokane...Ohhhhh yeah :) Funny faces and good music!
After 8 months of working at Chief Joseph Dental Clinic, my status has now been made name plate official, finally!! It has been quite a ride, but I am grateful for a good paying job that I thoroughly enjoy :) I work with and for some good people and have a great schedule. Things have been intensly busy lately! Recently, I went and ran the Oregon office for a day while some staff was gone. It is located in Joseph, OR and it is quite the drive! It is super windy and is about 2 hours away! I had to leave at like 6am to get there in time for patients, so I was a bit grumpy, but the sunrise view was amazing!!
A couple weeks ago, we celebrated my birthday :) It was a pretty crummy day, but Jordan made it special when I got off work! We went and ate at Rooster's, which is a super yummy place right by the river in Clarkston. Jordan brough home flowers and a sweet card and spoiled me with a new lens for my photography and an itunes card to download some new tunes :) we just spent the night together relaxing and he later sang happy birthday to me, complete with candles in the gallon of mint chocolate chip icecream. Ya we are kinda silly!
I recently tried out my new lens with some friends of ours :) They have a sweet boy Isaac that they will be finally adopting in 2 weeks, so we had some fun by the water with him taking some sweet shots! Check them out! I can't offically post the full album until he is officially adopted in 2 weeks, so here is a few teasers!
We have been pretty much living in Spokane these last several weekends for Jordan's work! While we have been there, we have done some fun things :) A few weeks ago while we were there, we went to an antique show and I scored a vintage cradle to do newborn sessions with! SO excited to do a session with it! We have ate some good food, seen some amazing sunsets, and went to see a few movies and shopping too.
As usual, Jordan has been running himself ragged with work and family obligations. He never stops I swear! Always getting things done and working hard. So proud of such a hardworking husband! He has been out of town the last few days and finally came home yesterday! I suprised him with a crapload of basketball cards that I found at a thrift store. He was so excited to sort them all and see all the good rookie cards. What a find! He has collected basketball cards since he was a little kid and that is one of his only hobbies that he can squeeze in right now in between work and life! He had fun spending all night sorting them :)
Despite being extremely busy always working, he always seems to sneak in some time to surprise me at work with lunch here and there and just when I need it the most with having a super busy and stressful day!
We have enjoyed spending time with friends on a regular basis! Some friend of ours have a couple super cute kids that get to hang out with sometimes! We watched them the other night and took them to park and hung out with them at the house. So much fun! We love miss Remi and Isaac :)
That's about all I have to report...whew! Lots of pictures, but I know you aren't surprised by that one! Hope you are enjoying your warming up weather, we sure are!!
