Welcome 2016 {January}

2016 is going to be a great year for our family! I can feel it! While the Winter weather isn't very pleasant, we are keeping busy with fun things when we can!

We took a night out to celebrate a big milestone in Jordan's Career! He not only met his budget goal, but EXCEEDED it by quite a bit! He worked so hard to make budget and his hard work and dedication paid off! A few weeks later at his district meeting he was awarded "Territory Manager of the Year" too! He took on extra roles last year to help fill voids in the Boise Team and earned every bit of the recognition!

The Area Vice President Brian Christensen, Jordan, and Jordan's boss Michael Hjorth

Ahh that moment when the sun is in baby girl's eyes so your give her your sunglasses :) How cute is she??!!

At what point does it become acceptable to start duct taping your kid's shoes on so you don't have to re-put their shoes AND socks on 200 million times a day???! Ugh Mom probs.....

The cookie monster has returned!

My KitchenAid's got nothing on this cutie!!

She sure loves those horses! Tipppy toes and all!

We went out on a date and she was a little mad that we left her. We have been trying to get her to actually lay on her pillow at night and apparently since we went out, she felt the need to boycott her pillow! Too funny :)

We have to buy her pants a little bigger so they are long enough and sometimes, this happens.... ha ha the struggle of being tall!

Mornings with this cutie are always a ride! She is such a morning person with a solid routine!

Jordan sure knows the fastest way to my heart.... Chips and Salsa from Chilis! Little treats like this makes a momma's day a little bit sweeter.

Can't even remember the last time I was able to just snuggle on the couch with this sweet girl and watch some old Instagram videos! Such a beautiful day <3

Went out shopping with Adalynn while Jordan packed for his Trip. Even in the stroller she is quite the ham!

Dropping Jordan off at the Airport for his trip to California! Adalynn was bound and determined to go with him. She loves her Daddy!
Girl's night out while daddy is away.... Get it girl!

This girl LOVES puzzles and can do almost ALL of them all by herself! Such a smartie pants :)

We had fun sending Jordan all kinds of pics while he was having fun in California!

The Bath Queen! We have to actually spell out B-A-T-H when we talk about it otherwise she is already half undressed and running towards the bath!

Morning Skype sesh with these cuties!

Jordan got tickets to see a Lakers game for Christmas while he was in CA! Him and a family friend Jack went to the game together and had a total blast!

The essentials after a fun game :)

Ready for a fun Girls day out on Saturday! I had some fun up my sleeve for Adalynn to get out of the house :)

Ready to go! Pretty much my favorite girl of all time in the history of EVER <3

There is a fun play place called Jabbers near us in Nampa. I took Adalynn to play while Jordan was gone. It is pretty much just an indoor play area with all kinds of toys and cars and even a jungle gym! She was in heaven!

Never a dull moment with this silly lady! I stepped outside to throw out the garbage and came back to this!

You would never know that behind this sweet smile, was a little monster at church! She is sweet and sassy at home, but I swear, the minute we step into church, she puts on her attitude and fits like none other! Good thing she is cute right?!

"Aren't you coming after me mom?"

Fun in Sunbeam class! She has enjoyed playing with the kids, but it has been a bit of a transition learning to share and not eat everyone else's snacks ha ha

Singing time!

Getting in a few last after-nap snuggles before picking up Jordan at the airport!

The anticipation was KILLING her. She watched patiently as all the people came through and she looked everywhere for Jordan.

Yay! Daddy's home!!!
Always an adventure to see how she is sleeping before we head to bed!
Bum in the air....

Heaven forbid she stay on her pillow ha ha!

Adalynn is DYING for warmer weather! She lives to go out and get the mail, just to get outside and see the sunshine :)

When great grandma calls and says she needs a horizontal picture for her new picture frame, we deliver :) We sure love our cute grown up doll face!

She was cooking something fierce with her whisks and bowl! Even had to get some ingredients out of the fridge!

When the going gets tough, the tough call Grandma :)

I can't get over how big she looks.... So tall and grown up!

We were lucky that any cheese actually ended up on the pizza! The pizza maker was actually the cheese eater!

We live an exciting life! Took Adalynn to the mall to play on the toys inside and this is how it ended up ha ha! Daddy down!

Cute daughters sure are the best medicine <3 Pretty in Red!

Stealing all the snuggles and kisses I can while she still lets me. Time flies wayyyyy too fast!

Jordan plays a few basketball games on Saturday and we have fun going to watch! He still has those mad skills and tears up the court!

One thing we want to do better this year is to make date night a priority! We have always found an excuse or got caught up in work to make plans, but we are making it happen! It has been so nice to get out just the two of us and focus on just each other <3

"Bout time you came to get me mom!" ha ha!! Oh the crib life....

Forget the pony, Adalynn wants a turtle! Stopped into Cabela's to visit the Aquarium :)

We LOVE lunch dates to meet up with Jordan! Can't beat Cafe Rio with these cuties <3

Remember the picture above and how much fun we had having lunch at Cafe Rio? Well that yummy happiness was short lived when Adalynn decided to rip out her earring right after in the car and put it in her mouth!! I pulled into the nearest gas station and combed the car for the sign of the other earring that she had pulled out. No sign of it anywhere. I was frantic and called her doctor panicking that she might have swallowed it. Every other time I have been able to find it in the car, her carseat, or in her onesie, but this time it was gone so I was pretty sure she swallowed it. This mama was freaking out!! The last place I wanted to go was the ER to have her Xrayed to make sure it wouldn't puncture anything... Thank goodness her doctor called back and said that it would just pass in her diaper. Whew! With all the fruit she eats, her diapers are gnarly so I never did find it, but I am so grateful that it wasn't serious!

Always a laugh a minute being married to Jordan <3

Those moments when you just want to pick them out of bed and just HOLD them <3 I love her to pieces!!

The spaghetti monster! Adalynn approves :)

I am working on a new series for my photography and so I played around getting a few candid moments one morning. Adalynn LOVES to watch Elmo videos on my phone. She will count and sing and it is pretty much the cutest thing!

I was dying laughing! Yes we have an obsessed with Frozen little girl!

The fact that this pretty girl only has 3 months left of being {ONE} is completely killing me..... I feel like I blinked and she is so big now! How on earth did I get so blessed to be her mom? Her feisty strong willed hard headed personality pushes my patience to the edge most days, but being sent to Earth at this time only shows how much strong spirits are needed!! I have no doubt that she will do great things! She is always saying hi to everyone and spreading her sweetness with complete strangers. She sure teaches me how to love! Yesterday while we were eating a quick lunch at McDonalds, there was a homeless man sitting at a booth near us. Everyone else passed by without saying a word and avoiding eye contact. Adalynn proceeded to smile, wave, and talk to him the whole time we were there to eat. I'm sure he hasn't smiled like that in a long time. It really touched me. I am so thankful to have her for a daughter!

Playdates are serious business! She had to watch out the window for her friend to arrive!

She had so much fun playing the Vivienne!

The life of a mom..... This is one for the books.....

After that poop fest, we had to throw her into the shower and put on her jams! She just had to have her necklace on with it. Can you tell she is ALL girl?!

The Christmas gift that kept on giving :)

Best $1.29 I ever spent... I love mommy-daughter dates to Target!

We skipped making cookies on Sunday and opted for snuggling and playing instead. I'm dying over all that cuteness!

One of her favorite areas of the playroom, her magnet board! She loves to name and rearrange all her mickey and friends magnets.

Moments like these make my heart BURST! She was having a ball mixing with Jordan on the kitchen floor :) Look at that face!!! And the way she looks at him!! ugh how did we get so lucky?!

That moment when you check the closet to make sure that daddy really isn't home to play with you....

"I do it! I do it!" And this is the result of toddler independence! Yogurt face!

Jordan had a district meeting in Twin Falls. We planned to go with him, but he soon after found out that several big bosses were going to be there, so we couldn't go down with him. Adalynn and I went to have some fun for a few days while Jordan was working and doing meetings.

It is amazing how much happy comes from a car wash and wax! We are ready to head out of town to Twin!

Twin Falls Bound!

Rub-a-dub-dub, Adalynn's in Grandma's tub!

Because being out of town with mom is the perfect excuse to not sleep in your own bed...
Adalynn is too tall for a pack and play anymore, so the sleeping struggle is real when we travel!

Just making some toast with Great Grandma! You can't beat her little vintage kitchen!

Tried to get a good picture, but she was too excited to be at Grandma's house. I was totally dying over how cute she looked! ugh girls are so much fun!

Girl's day! We did some shopping, had a yummy lunch, and talked all things camera :)

This was a not so fun highlight of our Twin trip.....My broken pinky toe! I tripped over the leg of the highchair at my mom's house and it was ridiculously painful. So painful that I even got dizzy after hitting it so hard! I was sure that I broke it and sure enough, the black showed up the next day! OUCH!

We had to fit in a trip to SIPS for a to-die-for cookie! I can still taste the amazingness just thinking about it!!

Wishing I could stop the growing up and just keep our little girl "little" forever.....

We squeezed in lunch with Grandpa before we headed back to Boise! We waited inside watching for him and I was cracking up at how excited Adalynn was. The door would chime when someone walked in and Adalynn would  say, "Grandpa?!" I would tell her nope, not yet and she would reply with, "coming!" (meaning he is coming) She proceeded to do that with every single person that walked through the door for a good 15 minutes. Oh how it melted my heart! We had lunch at Wendy's and then headed back. As we left she said over and over, "Buh bye Gmpa! Gmpa, Buh bye!" as she waved out the window. It was the most precious thing... She sure loves her Grandpa!

All tuckered out to hit the road and head home <3

What text every wife dreams of getting on a Friday!

I had an itch to decorate for Vday and WhaLaa! Love is in the air <3

Rainy Days call for some puddle jumping fun! If that smile doesn't melt you, then you aren't human!

Two things Adalynn LOVES.... her Frozen book and her daddy <3 Music to my ears to listen to them read bedtime stories together!

She was so proud of her picture from nursery that I had to get a picture! Moments like these sure make for a happy Sabbath.

Hard to believe that January has already flown by! We have so many fun plans coming up and are grateful for all our blessings and each day together <3
