On the COUNTDOWN :)

We are down to one week from today and the excitement is building!!! I came up to Lewiston to spend the weekend with my hunny before the wedding next weekend. I rode with him to work yesterday and we visited Moscow and Pullman :) The ride consisted of funny faces like these and I couldn't help but get a pic!!

Everything is pretty much done for the wedding, just finishing up the odds and ends stuff that seems to be extremely tedious! A week fom today we will be married AND 2 weeks from today..... we will be leaving for HAWAII!!!!!
In the meantime, the last 2 weekends I had bridal showers to celebrate at! I had one in Twin Falls and one in Idaho Falls for my Dad's side of the family :) It was fun to catch up with friends and family! I got a lot of really nice kitchen stuff and other things for our house! So blessed to have such awesome and supportive people in our lives! Here are a few pics from the Twin Falls shower :)

Nothing else too exciting has happened, but the chaos of everything will set in soon! Hope all is well with you!

The Wedding Planning P.R.O.C.E.S.S

So ever since we got engaged, life has been a whirlwind!! All I have to say to young girls is it doesn't happen and work like in the movies, but hang in there and it will all be worth it :)

{Finding our House}
Like I said in the previous post, we will be living in Lewiston,ID after we are married! Jordan got transferred with EcoLab to manage the Lewiston, Moscow, Pullman, and Clarkston Territory and we couldn't be more excited to start some roots there! The house that I spoke of in the previous post we didn't end up getting due to a couple other applications that were put in before ours, but we were blessed with an even more amazing house! We had to go up the next weekend to look again for a house. We drove around some subdivisions and drove by some houses and said "Oo those look nice I would take one of those." Funny story is that is exactly what happened. A Friend of the guy we had applied with before knew a family that were renting a house due to a family member passing away. He passed along our application and we were able to seal the deal and move Jordan the next weekend! This house had all we were looking for and more! A 2 car garge for all of Jordan's work stuff, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, a washer and dryer, a kick butt kitchen with a pantry, and a good neighborhood. We love it! The bedrooms are huge, its a quiet community, the kitchen is huge with lots of storage, AND our backyard overlooks sunset park!
So the following weekend, we moved Jordan from Kalispell, Mt into our new home in Lewiston. Our Landlords are super awesome and let us paint whatever we want and make any changes we want!.... So, our first house project was painting the kitchen. All my kitchen stuff is rustic americana stuff and I have dreamed of having a dark red kitchen. Sooooooo when we moved Jordan, I tackled just that! Word to the wise, NEVER use Glidden paint! After 5 coats and almost crying when the first coat was pink, I will never use it ever again. It was awful! Good thing it turned out really good despite the bumps and I can't wait to put things up! Jordan is moved in now, and after the wedding, I will be up there too! We are so excited :)
{Engagement Pics}
In between all the chaos of transitioning into marriage, we managed to sneak in some engagement pics before Jordan went on vacation with is family! Here are some of our favorites :)
We had a blast taking pictures with Tasha! We laughed and got some good shots :)
We were so happy with how cute our announcements came out! They didn't scan too well, but you get the basic idea :)

{Honeymoon}
We also were able to finally get our honeymoon booked!! Come July, we are Hawaii bound!!!!!!!! We are holdin out for sunny sandy beaches and a week to ourselves just enjoying each other :) We leave the following week of the wedding to Hawaii for a week! We got a super good deal and have alot of fun things planned! Our hotel is right on Waikiki Beach and we get to have breakfast on the beach every morning! We get to go to the Polynesian Culture Center, a Dinner Cruise, layout on the beach, and drive around Oahu having fun :) We can't wait!
We have appreciated all the love and support while we prepare for this big event! You definitely find out who your true friends are in big times like these :) Thanks to all our amazing friends and family for helping us to make 7.7.12 the most memorable day ever!

We're {ENGAGED!!}

So yes.... We're engaged!!! After 3 years of dating, we are getting ready to make it official! Life is crazy as usual, but we are eating, breathing, and sleeping wedding plans! In between all the business I thought I would take a minute and jot down a little bit about us, how we met, the proposal, and current plans since EVERYONE has been asking :) Might be a long post, but I'll see what I can do :)
{HOW WE MET}
So yes this story is a little cheesy, but o well! Jordan and I met when we were both front end managers at the Twin Falls Walmart! Gotta love that Walmart love :) Jordan had just graduated with his Bachelor's Degree from University of California Riverside in business and had moved with his family to Twin Falls (long enough to meet and date me). I was dating someone at the time and he had just got out of a serious relationship and was fresh on the prowl! With his flirty ways and seducing comments we dated for a month before we were an official couple on July 5, 2009. Us working at Walmart with 200 people, there was always some girl I was fighting off! In between him moving 9 hours away for his job, and a few break ups, we are still going strong almost 3 years later with a big announcement that we are getting married!!
{THE PROPOSAL}
Ok, so Jordan's work decided to transfer him territories from Kalispell, Montana to Lewiston, ID! That translates into closer to home, not as cold, and a great new opportunity! I had went up to Lewiston to help him look for a house and ended up coming back home with the ring of my dreams :) Housing in Lewiston was scarce for what we were looking for vs. what the price was listed at and we couldn't find anything to even look at! We were very discouraged and were driving through a random neighborhood, hoping to find a lead. We drove by a house for rent and thought it was cute, we called on it, and were able to see it right away! We looked at it and loved it so we hurried and put in our application, hoping to hear good news by the end of the weekend. After turning in the application, I decided to take some pictures of the house (hoping we would get it) so I could show family and friends. Here is what the house looked like.....
Ok, so I was busy taking pictures and was ready to put the camera away in the car. I was undoing the lense and turned around to find Jordan kneeling in the gravel driveway holding out a ring! I was in shock! With a few short words and him shaking really bad as he put the ring on my finger, we were officially engaged! We celebrated by going out to eat and calling family :) Sadly we didn't end up getting the house due to a couple other applications that were turned in before ours, but we did end up getting an awesome house with the details told on a later post!
{THE RING}
I picked out my all time favorite ring a long time ago, and he surprised me with it :)

Our wedding date is set for 7.7.12 and we are so excited! Look for more posts leading up to the wedding!
