So yes.... We're engaged!!! After 3 years of dating, we are getting ready to make it official! Life is crazy as usual, but we are eating, breathing, and sleeping wedding plans! In between all the business I thought I would take a minute and jot down a little bit about us, how we met, the proposal, and current plans since EVERYONE has been asking :) Might be a long post, but I'll see what I can do :)
{HOW WE MET}
So yes this story is a little cheesy, but o well! Jordan and I met when we were both front end managers at the Twin Falls Walmart! Gotta love that Walmart love :) Jordan had just graduated with his Bachelor's Degree from University of California Riverside in business and had moved with his family to Twin Falls (long enough to meet and date me). I was dating someone at the time and he had just got out of a serious relationship and was fresh on the prowl! With his flirty ways and seducing comments we dated for a month before we were an official couple on July 5, 2009. Us working at Walmart with 200 people, there was always some girl I was fighting off! In between him moving 9 hours away for his job, and a few break ups, we are still going strong almost 3 years later with a big announcement that we are getting married!!
{THE PROPOSAL}
Ok, so Jordan's work decided to transfer him territories from Kalispell, Montana to Lewiston, ID! That translates into closer to home, not as cold, and a great new opportunity! I had went up to Lewiston to help him look for a house and ended up coming back home with the ring of my dreams :) Housing in Lewiston was scarce for what we were looking for vs. what the price was listed at and we couldn't find anything to even look at! We were very discouraged and were driving through a random neighborhood, hoping to find a lead. We drove by a house for rent and thought it was cute, we called on it, and were able to see it right away! We looked at it and loved it so we hurried and put in our application, hoping to hear good news by the end of the weekend. After turning in the application, I decided to take some pictures of the house (hoping we would get it) so I could show family and friends. Here is what the house looked like.....

Ok, so I was busy taking pictures and was ready to put the camera away in the car. I was undoing the lense and turned around to find Jordan kneeling in the gravel driveway holding out a ring! I was in shock! With a few short words and him shaking really bad as he put the ring on my finger, we were officially engaged! We celebrated by going out to eat and calling family :) Sadly we didn't end up getting the house due to a couple other applications that were turned in before ours, but we did end up getting an awesome house with the details told on a later post!
{THE RING}
I picked out my all time favorite ring a long time ago, and he surprised me with it :)

Our wedding date is set for 7.7.12 and we are so excited! Look for more posts leading up to the wedding!
